In fact, the events are getting so weird, I have sabootaged everyone's cars so that they have no ABS for ALL the events!

I have been practicing without ABS but I'm nowhere near the point of driving competitively without it.

It would take a couple of hands to count the number of times I laughed out loud when watching the Rally challenge. :)

Practice is over. Was good fun. LOVE the snow race! Very intense driving right behind two others.

In the morning or in the afternoon/evening? I was sorry that I wasn't able to come to the last one, I just ended up being busy. Whether it's in the morning or in the afternoon I should be able to attend this time 👍 .

No, GMT is the standard time for Britain, but in the summer and spring, we push the time one hour ahead and it becomes BST. If people are still saying times in GMT, then that means you add one hour to it for BST which means that it will open at 11:30 am for me.

To be totally honest I normally do too, but it's only because I use my iPod to check the time, which has been set to 24h for the last 3 years :lol:

Off topic, but do you know how 24 time was invented? I have forgotten his name, but it was invented by a person who was at a train station one day. He was told his train was going to arrive at 6:00 but it wasn't clear if it was am or pm. It turned out that the train was going to arrive at 6:00 PM. He was really annoyed that he had to wait another 12 hours and he spent the rest of his time thinking through how an incident like this could be prevented from happening again. He then had an idea of switching the 12 hour clock to 24 hour clock and that is how the 24 hour clock was invented.

EDIT: Now that you mentioned it, I'm sticking to 24 time too...

Well, here's a history lesson on 24 hour time, it goes back long before trains were even thought of, never mind invented!:)👍

I read that from a book in history but it seems that even books lie sometimes... :( . But then again you can't trust Wikipedia either because anyone can edit it and put information on it that is simply not true.

Obviously, yes, you can't trust anything online no matter what site it's on, but don't disregard information just because of the site it's on. If you actually read the article you would see that there are very old clocks which show 24hrs instead of 12, you couldn't make that up, it's there, it's physical... and using common sense it's easy to tell that around the time when people began splitting the days into hours, there was 24hr time.

I've been thinking about signing up but not sure what's coming up for me so when it gets closer to the 5th I'll know if I can take part. :D
