You don't have to pay, you can get them from level 24 tickets :sly:

The thing is, are you willing to give me a level 24 ticket

You do know that practice session has been postponed until 5 pm GMT today, right?

No. The session had been pushed back to 18.00GMT, which means 7 'o clock for the UK, and 8 for Denmark etc. Remember. The UK is currently GMT+1(Technically speaking BST) due to summer time! :)

Hmm, if you agree to race in the event I could send one your way 👍

These timezones still confuse me

To make life easier for you, where ever you see a time that's GMT, just add one hour to it and that's the time that we are going by.

Ah ok. That's ok until I got an hour the wrong way when the times change again

Sorry Jawehawk, I won't lie. I completely forgot about the practice. Wasn't until I saw "Andy-Macnab is offline" that I remembered :guilty:

Don't know yet. Probably going to be a few days, for me to work up the spirit for it.

You should always have the spirit for it. Even when it's going bad, try to make the best of it. When i'm at last place during a race (happens to me too) i try to catch up as much as possible (duh). If i manage to catch up i know i'll be competitive for the next race. If i don't.... i then know i have work to do :).

I once had a two lap race on the ring and was 3rd with quite a big gap to the leading two. At each time interval the gap became smaller and smaller, a spectator saw that to and made a comment that i was coming through. But i f'cked up and didn't managed to catch up, otherwise i would have overtaken them. Even with the bad result i still loved that race very much. Not to long ago i had the same situation on Monaco, but i got disconnected... i was very close to throw my controller through my tv..

Next practice is on wedsnday at 18.00GMT. The next one after that will be on saturday at 11.00GMT.

Sounds good, expect me there. I really need to practice the Corvette Z06 and Skyline Sedan. The Lancia and Toyboata are alright for me. I could shave a few tenths of each but considering I can't do a full lap with the Corvette or Skyline without spinning or crashing I think I need to focus more on them.

Same here. It's the Top Gear Track that's giving me a run for my money. Especially the second last corner... At daytona its the other way around, it's the car that's giving me a hard time. Need to work on my x-button control :)

The trouble with the skyline is that you don't just have to get the right speed, angle, line etc but you have to get a good balance between throttle and brake or the car will pick between handling like a dog on ice or a large cruise ship.

Funny that you say that, because the steering feels very loose on the skyline but it's some what grippy... but then again it might just be because you are DS3 users :D .

It may well be the DS3 vs Wheel argument because we seem to have different opinions of the cars handling. :)

Looking forward to practice tomorrow, will be my first with the DFGT, so far I've found it very hard to adapt to from using the DS3. The Force Feedback is rediculous and I find it easier to spin out on exits of a corner.

Aye, it's a good deal harder to recover when losing the tail. On the other hand. Throttle control and consistency is a lot easier.

I can't join tonight lads.

I can't see with all the snow flying around

As long as you're not in first place everyone has that problem i figure. I'm using bumper view, think that's the worst view to use in rally races.

Which view are you guys using?

-going off-topic-

As i was writing this message i was in doubt how to correctly spell "which" (as a non-english person i sometime have that problem :).). I used google to check that and filled "which" in the search field. On of the suggested search terms that popped up caught my attention: which muppet are you. :) After filling in 10 questions i turned out to be one of the two old grumpy men (waldorf and statler).

So next time when you're racing against me, imagine a grumpy old puppet sitting behind the steering wheel (but still beating you :)).

Room is up.

I pretty much always use cockpit view, regardless of weather conditions. I will occasionally go to bumper view in heave rain conditions, to ensure that I don't hit others.

Room closed.

Strange, I always use bumper view since I have a large mirror that is easy to access. I wouldn't imagine using the cockpit view in GT5 because it doesn't feel right for some reason in my opinion.
