Try doing a text search for it. You do it by selecting the icon that looks like a magnifying glass. Type in "GT Academy 2012".

But be warned it's 3021mb so be sure to have it free đź‘Ť

Could I get a headcount on those who are attending tonights practice? Just wanted to know whether anyone is actually interested in this one. Let me know guys.

There's a practice? Oh I'll attend. Well what time is it, in UK time. Please don't confuse me with timezones

Room is up. 1472-6118-3916-1736-7441.

This is the last practice session folks. If you're new, and haven't attended any sessions, this is your last chance. If you have not attended any sessions, you will not be able to attend the race tomorrow.

Once again short of being Champion.

First race was almost perfect, I was able to start from 7th and work my way through the pack to catch Andy by lap 7 and followed him for awhile and made my pass him on lap 13 and took the win. I was able to hit consistent 20s most of the time with my fastest lap at 1.20.650

Second race at Rome I spun it into the wall first lap and received heavy damage and that ended my shot at even passing a person, I just raced the rest of the race by myself.

Third race I got the pole thanks to reverse grid and I never looked back, lead every lap and was getting 24s & 25s with the fastest being 1.24.8

Fourth race was mired by tons of mistakes in the Vette, I wasn't very focused and it paid me back with me missing my braking points and spinning out 2 times but was able to get a 3rd out of it. I started in last and tried to work my way through the pack behind Tav, by the time we passed everybody Andy had like a 8 second lead already by the 2nd lap. Then I continued in 3rd and 4th for a while, gaining time on Andy and then losing in one of my mistakes. By lap 11 I somehow found myself fighting Tav for the lead, passing him a couple times and then making a mistake and losing the position to him. I made my final move to attempt to win on the last lap on the long straight before T1 and passed him and commenced holding him off. It went ok and we battled side by side for a bit and taking it into T16 ahead I somehow got it sliding and I failed at saving it so I finished 3rd. And my lap times were way off what I got in practice, I was getting 43s. Practice I was getting consistent 42s.

Rome was simply the best race I've ever been in. Me MattieM and Tavilha, neck and neck till lap 9. After realizing that us three were evenly matched I managed to get away by around 0.5, with Mattie and Tavilha still battling. I tried to make a gap, unfortunately I pushed to hard to pull away (senna flashback) and put my rear into the wall. I made sure I wasn't in the way of Mattie or Tavilha as they overtook and finished in a position I was reasonably disappointed with.

The whole championship, Rome aside, I was struggling with. I am unable to snow drive, I hate the skyline with a passion and the corvette well that's in a league of it's own. I was hoping for redemption with the Rome. Especially when you consider that in the practice the day before I won 2 of 3 practice races in it with me damaging myself in the other.

Well done Tavilha đź‘Ť

I enjoyed this event very much. First race started 2nd after Andy. Driving without ABS and braking with the square button still is quite a handfull. I got overtaken by ADR and MSTER, but MSTER crashed later on so i came in 3rd.

2nd race was the most fun race. For 9 laps m8h3r, Tavilha and i were battling for 1st place. Everyone was driving with common sense so there were no hard bumps from others. M8h3r crashed when he was in lead and had to give up his position to Tavilha and me. The two of us were going bumper to bumper all the way up to second last lap were i unfortunately crashed too. With one lap to go i decided not to pit and finished 3 secs behind tavilha.

3rd race i started in the last row and worked myself up to 4th place. I don't know which lap it was but i someone crashed into the tyre stack and blocked the track for a little while. I managed my way around and got to 2nd place, but could not gain on ADR. Interesting to see the split times, most of the time i lost time in the first half of the track. The other half i gained about the same amount, so on average we were just about as quick to each other.

4th and last race was not bad either. For a long time i was able to keep up with ADR and Tav, slowly gaining on Andy. The last few laps as the tyre wear became noticably i could not keep up anymore and made a lot of mistakes. One of them resulted in a crash with a lot of damage. I made a pitstop and finished at the 4th place.

Congrats to Tavilha for winning this event. I hope to see more of those battles we had in the Rome race.

Do you need any help with photo's?

Sorry. Been testing in GT5 for a while, without checking back in the thread.
I have a bunch of great F430 Scudaria VS Gallardo event photo's, so no problem there.

I'm still working on the next championship. Here's what I've come up with thus far.

Madrid Circuit – Lotus Elise ’96 – 14 laps. No ABS(real car doesn't have ABS). Comfort soft. Damage enabled.

Tsukuba circuit – Lotus Elise 111R ’04 - 18 laps. Sport Hard. Damage enabled.

Chamonix West – Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR T.M. SCP ’99 – 10 laps. No ABS.

Circuit De La Sarthe 2009 – 04.40 at night – Lexus LFA ’10 – 9 laps. Sport Hard. Damage enabled.

Not sure about having two different Lotus events. Might switch out the first car with something else. Ideas? Has to be below 200BHP.

I think the two different Lotus Elise events are fine to be honest.

It should be noted that the Mitsubishi is extremely fun and difficult to drive around Chamonix west. There's a fairly long straight with bumps, and it's very easy to lose control over the car when hitting them.

Yep, should be good fun. The Madrid circuit is fast action, close up to the walls, so I'm expecting this to be similar to Rome in the last championship.

Tsukuba circuit – Lotus Elise 111R ’04 - 18 laps. Sport Hard. Damage enabled.

Not a big fan of Tsukuba, but none the less should make for good racing.

Chamonix West – Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR T.M. SCP ’99 – 10 laps. No ABS.

Sweet merciful Jesus not more snow.

YES. Love the Lexus, handles like a dream. Will be one to look forward to, with the night time making it all the more interesting.

Okay. The championship races are finale then :).

I'm going to purchase the cars, paint them. Oil change them and begin to break in the engine. I'll assume they are all stock correct?

They are indeed. I have to get working on the photos.
