The Rolex Sports Car Series /Help Plan Season 2!/

Polar, I think you should to upgrade the GT ONE, maybe HP, because, after the race, I tested the 908 HDI, at the first lap I was (0".600) faster than with my GT ONE, the difference is big I think.

Well is just one opinion!

I thought so too. I thought, "well, at least it's not Storm... this championship might be in the bag... Oh, he's off track... Oh, he's not driving... that's CPU- OH NO! OH DEAR GOD! OH THE HUMANITY!"

Btw, those messages we were sending... pretty accurate stuff!

Finally, on to LE MANS. Here comes some serious chaos. Seth & I are no longer teammates, I bet... I think that, together, we won the Team Championship... But, not without going 110% for the Driver's championship... Absolutely no love loss.

I hope James runs some theoretical calculations for the Team Championship.

By my calculations, Team Dodge is at 400 points, and with two races to go, the most they can get is 700... We've ALREADY got 720... 💡 AUDI CLINCHES!

Didnt you qualify the fastest? I know you beat my best lap by at least that much.

And, okay, Seth won guys! Not me... I came very close. Congrats to my teammate, for helping me win the Manufacturer's title. I think we'll take our gloves off now, and go for the driver's championship?

It was close. The 2nd last lap I didn't know what the guy in the Peugeot was doing, so I braked really late, I didn't know whether to brake early or what was going to happen. The last lap was close. I figured you'd go for the draft, and you did but it wasn't enough. If we had one more lap you may have won MrM ;) Trying to close the gap. I thought we would have more laps to run, and my tires were good for another 4 laps easy. I figured we would have more laps so I ran 9 laps per stint, I should have ran 8, then with fresher tires, I probably could have had a big enough lead the little fight at the end wouldn't have happened. But it was fun regardless.

Look, I don't have the Bentley but, I'm gonna buy it and test it, then I will tell you the difference. For now, I made one lap with the 90 HDI and I was 0".600 faster than with my GT ONE.
 
Im curious to see what other peoples pit window was. I was able to stretch mine out to between 11-12 laps. Which I thought was weird. I thought for sure the DP's would eat up tires faster than GT.

I'd dupe one for you, but we cant send anything over a million cr to each other. Took me a while to find mine. Best I can do for now is make mine available for you to test.

And I totally understand where you are coming from. But you also understand where Im coming from right?
 
I'm not feeling confident at all right now.

It hardly matters what I do with the car anymore, because even with the raw power and speed you wouldn't notice it on the straights unless you were drafting. Fighting with an Audi was like fighting to get away from an aggressive little jack russel nipping at your feet.

It was distracting having Mel swarming over the back of me, though I didn't give him much of a choice, but that's why my tyres were going so poorly. Its not like the Viper's good on its tyres either, which is even more annoying.

Plan successful. XD Finally got compared to a Jack Russell!!!!!! W00T W00T!!

But, I noticed the difference in straight line speed. The draft was worth 20 km/h. YET, I still only managed to hold pace with you, up until 270 km/h. Then the draft became SUPERPOTENT and I was slightly faster. The problem is, if you were in Seth's Audi, you would have no chance at all, for the entire straight. The Dodge is sure to win at Le Mans... Just figure your internet connection out.

And, Seth, you got the winner's points... I got SO much closer to lv. 39 A spec.

Nope. Even if he finished more ghan you, I'd personally be inclined to give you third. You fought for it... unlike he did... not at all

Thanks. My goal was to just finish in front of Ant in the last three races(Fuji, Le Mans, and Laguna Seca) and just tie the championship up, but I didn't get to do that. I'd have to look at points but, mathematically, I think I could still win the championship somehow.
 
I say we give mrM a shot at hosting one of these! The itcc race went almost without lag (the yellow car and orange focus were lagging in the 2nd race) so his connection seems to 1. Work with mine (YAY!) and 2. Be stable enough to hold a race with about as many people as we had today.

And how many points am I getting?

Well, I could try... Storm wasn't able to connect to me. The orange Focus was Evert, and the yellow car was norml's S2000. I really need to get norml to give me the specs he's using. When I ran the S2000, it was mighty fast. But, it fits well in the series, in his specs.

And, I think you're getting 50... You *DID* technically finish fourth... But, I'm not really a steward here. I just give my two pence here and there.

Yea, I guess James isn't on to give me the final verdict, but we always give people that disconnect the last place points, in the order they disconnect. So I'm 4th storm 3rd

But, all in all, it's been a great first season so far.

I had an idea, though. Let's get our connections figured out over the next two races, and, in the new season, having that many more people able to connect should gather some huge attention.

For season 2, we will be swapping the srt10 for the viper acr (I think it's actually the srt10 acr...but you get the point) storm and I have both tested the car, and the specs will be 1280kg and about 265-270hp. This is the first of a few announcements that will be made this week regarding season 2!

Hmmm, this speculation leaves me clueless, actually. If I switched to DP, I'd probably say "woohoo, go Toyota!" because I haven't driven a Toyota in a series, ever. But, I'm not sure at all...

And we've got to make sure that there is a spot open- w1nner got the boot. So a Bentley spot opened up. I would like to know where everyone is going, so new guys can see their options.
