in my point of view, rookies or beginners get in the 6 50's, amateurs get in the 6 40's, the pro's get in the 6 30's and the elite get in the 6 20's. any1 agree?

pro's in my book have to hit 6:30.999. elite are in the 28's and lower.

anything after 6:35 is average all the way to the 40's being not so good. (just how I view it, no disrespect)

35 average? Really? you must have a gift in finding fast rooms. I apparently stink running 39s (this is true, not sarcastic) yet still did just fine.

Its just my opinion, and we are talking about a 13 second difference.

Practice. The key is finding the problem, and fixing it. Driving with fast guys helps, because you can see where your slackin. I used to run 6:40's too.

I find the big thing is track and tire knowledge. I know how to drive fast (well sorta, can't do much better than 40th in a global time trial). Give a SH tire and I'll be OK, SM tires and I'm 1 second off pace.

And the GT300 Celica hitting 6:36 with tire wear ON, 2nd lap. 374 Bhp, 1150 Kg. Racing mediums also.

Yes, all at the ring.

Just maximize the car however you want as long as you don't break the spec i posted.
For instance, Run the GT500 car with everything maxed, just lower your Bhp to 502 and slap racing mediums on her. Make sense? If not I can write out each car and all that crap. If I didn't specify a tire, Run softs. The only flying lap was the celica. Rest were still starts.

Note the Xj13 only hits 648pp I just grouped it.

I 4got to say, the guy called motoGP who did 6 22 at 550pp did not use SRF, the car he used was a calibra super touring car. Even for a touring car, 6 22 is an incredible time.

I guess thats my next challenge. I hate that ugly thing though.. I think the Furai is probably capable of those kinds of times, I know un-tuned and not well practiced it can run a 24.

Also whenever you get in wisdoms room, tell them all about this thread, I'm sure they will get a kick out of it.

Right, I have just done a 6.37.6 in my lounge on my own which is a second faster than my best offline???

Using Rosckolove's tune, it is much better suited to online as offline it understeers slightly but online it oversteers/balanced which helps it rotate better.

Sorry to dissapoint you , but i'm seeing my girlfriend on Sunday now . She's much more sexy and amusing than you ... plus i'd rather rip out my eyes and rub them over a cheesegrater then sit in a lounge with you for longer than a minute 👍

May I remind you that the moderators didn't step in this thread because of my minor punctuation/spelling errors. They stepped in because people like you, are clearly violating Rule #3 in the AUP.

No its not all over, Jaymason and the crew will probably accomplish everything that will change GTP's opinion on this matter.

I will still be there saturday to race anyone who wants to, I'm highly looking forward to it.

Its a little less climatic I guess you could say.
