Ok, so there seems to be a little misunderstanding among some of the newer members and a very select few Veterans here about the difference between Modding, Tuning and Hacking.

In their own right each shouldn't be hard to understand but as Modding and Hacking are getting misused as a term for Hybridding I would like to provide the proper definitions for all three.

Modding-
The practice of modifying a production car to alter its appearance or to increase performance. I.e. Adding purchasable parts as the game intended

Tuning-
To make adjustment to. I.e. setting your Gears set or Downforce

Hacking-
To manually access save files and alter the Characteristics of a vehicle or part of said vehicle I.e. To make 3k hp Civic

note: Mods this may be helpful as a sticky for new members to make sure they can understand the difference

^ As it is used most in this forum it means to add parts. Mod and Hack are getting mixed up alot and it's causing some confusion. Case in point: Toyot 7 Dream. It is blatantly a hack yet he claims it as a mod. I have modded many cars but have never hacked and as such would like to propose that we use this as clarification so that we, as a whole, and our new members both joining and those under 10 posts can know that if for example I were to say "I have modded my FD3s" people do not assume I meant I hacked it and added say 1000hp.

^ If it is in fact a mod how is it both black and a premium when the Car is not available in black or paintable and is a STANDARD car. It does have a visible cockpit as it is an open top but look closely none of the guages work and if you get too close in pictures the game asks you to back up. Try to take it to redbull hangar in photo travel and snap me a picture. If you can manage this myself, the mods and all the other members will back off your case. By what I understand, a moderator has threatened banishment if you cannot provide such a picture and prove the car is indeed not a hack. With that I bid thee adieu.

I got given a premium toyota 7. I do not know how but it went and let me paint it black and let me tune it a little more. I am not saying any more and if you continue to pester me about it I will ignore you and I would also prefer you not to make threads about things you don't actually know.

All we all are asking is share the picture with us. I have been around the block here more than once. I have a Toyota 7 on GT5 and it is both standard and unpaintable. As I said, Show us the pic and we will back off.
