Looking at getting an E38 740iL for style and comfort later on, but pretty damn content with just the M3.

Doooooo iiiiiiiit.

As you said, bleh to the parents cars!

Mine:
1989 Opel Kadett 1.6. Died after a year of serious abuse.
1988 Subaru Mini Jumbo 2 cylinder. Also dead after a year, due to rust.
197X Beetle 1.2 (drove it for a year as a loaner from my boss)
1990 Daihatsu Applause 1.6 16v. Stupendous fast for a 1.6. Also gas guzzler.
1991 VW Golf 2 1.6. Most reliable car I've seen. Ever. Died on me because of a tank of bad gas after 8,5 years of getting me everywhere without any major problems. Still miss it today.

1976 GMC Pickup. Today's daily driver, semi project.
1983 BMW 635CSi. Restoration in progress.

1981 Datsun 1200 Ute. ( 2000 - '02)
1981 Holden VC SL/E Commodore. ( '02 - Present)
1964 VW Beetle. ( '10 - Present)

Oh God my dad's had to many to list but I'll list his current.

Bold are cars that I still have.

-1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport
-1999 Audi S4 (Shouldn't have purchased)
-1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (AWD 4G63 Turbo)

Me: 1989 Town Car

Dream car(s): 1967-1979 Lincoln Continental Mark III-V, 1973-74 VW Super Beetle, 1957-ish Ford F100, Ford GT.

Mom: A '79 Malibu, '81 Malibu Wagon, '95 Chevy Corsica, '99 Chevy Silverado 1500, '01 F150, another '01 F150, '07 F150.

Dream car(s): Dodge Viper SRT10, Ford GT, Jaguar XKR-S Convertible

Dad: I don't live with my dad and I don't talk to him as much as I should, so I'll just list a few I know. '72 Chevy Impala SS, '89 Chevy S10, '80s-'90s Ford Ranger (x2), 2nd gen Cavalier ( :ill: ) some Cavalier based Oldsmobile, and that's all I know. The S10 is the only one he has now that works, but the starter is out so he has to have someone push it to start it. The Impala was stolen and someone ran him over with it. The one of the Rangers were stolen and the other broke down. The Cavalier broke down. The Oldsmobile is technically his brother's, but it was left at my dad's house when his cousin went to prison.

Dream car(s): Ford GT and that '72 Impala again.

Me: Zip

Dad: Only thing of major note was a '69 Camaro in black and gold. He sold it because it had a bad engine and he didn't have the time to fix it.

Got any videos or pics to share. Sounds like sick Evo. Dog Box eh? Drag racer eh? What kinda of times?

No pics since the major build took place because I've been doing 100+ hour work weeks and traveling for work when I'm not basically living at the office, but I just got a couple GoPros so hopefully I'll have some footage this racing season. Its been sitting in a garage for the last 4 months. I only drive it on the nicest of the nice days. I've actually had hopes of making it a good track build and not a drag build but I ran a semi-aggressive tune at about 640 hp last season and ran high tens with cautious launches.

Here we go, (not in a specific order) (Much ) Bare in mind I'm just 26 years old, and have been wheeling and dealing auto mobiles since I was 12, and my first life goal was to own one of every Ford Falcon made in Australia, I have driven all of them, to get a feel for the era of the build, find the passion of what leads us Australian's to make the pilgrimage to Bathurst to pay our homeage to the legends of Australian motor racing, And through doing this I feel I got a level of passion like the older gent's who have been there and are still with us since day 1,

My Car List:

Ok... this is going to take ages to list all of the many cars I have owned...

Here we go...

Quantum H4i (Pics / info here)

Done. :)

Mine:

1966 Ford Mustang (straight 6, auto)
1973 Dodge Dart
1979 Ford Fiesta
1989 Honda Civic (DX)
1998 Honda Accord Coupe (V-6)
2001 Honda S2000

Dad's (that I know of):
MG MGA (not sure the year, 59 maybe?)
Corvair (not sure the year)
1965 Ford Mustang (289 V-8, auto)
1973 Dodge Dart
1972 Olds Delta 88 (440 V-8)
plus a non-descript Chevy wagon as a grocery-getter

1992 Lexus SC 300 - died of congestive electrical failure. Smoke was belching from beneath the fuse box but all fuses were intact. :boggled:

2003 Saab 9-3 - Sold. it ate Transmissions for lunch, and its third was slipping out of second around the time I got rid of it. In hindsight, I probably should have kept it.

1960 Chevy Biscayne - Sold after the engine ran itself out of oil. Biggest disappointment of my life.

1994 Mercedes-Benz E320 Wagon - Sold. Seven seats, three ashtrays, and no cupholders. Reverse was gravity operated.

2007 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited - Totaled. But I totaled the GMC Jimmy I hit as well.

2009 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Special Edition - Traded in for my current car.

2008 Subaru Outback 2.5 XT - Harvest Gold Metallic with the 5 speed Auto. My dream car is now my real life vehicle.

Past cars in order from first owned, to last.
93' Mazda MX-6 V6 - I loved the sound of the car, and it was my very first car at 17. I learned to drive stick in it :D

07' Honda Civic Si - This has got to be my favorite car out of what I've had. It was totaled :(. Got T-boned by a red light runner. I plan to get another in the near future, Same year to as it was my favorite look out of the current Civic's. Most likely a 4 door as I got tired of moving my seats for people to get into the cramped rear seats lol.

87 Toyota Corolla SR5 - I had plans for it but never got around to doing anything so I just sold it.

81' Datsun 280zx 2 seater- This car, I fell in love with unexpectedly. If I ever get enough money to restore a car and modify it, this will be the car. I just love the looks of it over the Z(even though it seems to be the "ugly" Z according to people lol)

Younger brothers Cars, all current:
01' Infiniti I30 - It is a very nice DD and I must say, at first I thought it was ugly.. but the looks have grown on me so much and it has potential. No DD ever stays a DD :P lol

Late 70's early 80's Chevy Camaro Berlinetta - Its his project car. I dont know much about it but it has a big block and it sounds mean as hell. Hes only 20 but hes been studing and learning up the ass and has been doing all the body work and maintenance him self. He has some major plans for the engine and plans to do as much as he can by himself (which I think, he'd be able to do alot) His most recent purchase is an engine stand so he can get that bad boy out and work on it easily.

Im going to start going to him for my repairs :P

The '72 Olds would have a 455, not a 440. A 440 is a Chrysler V8.

1985 Mazda RX-7 GS
1998 Nissan 200SX SE-R
2003 Dodge SRT-4 (very brief)
2000 Nissan Sentra SE
2004 Mazda 3 (also brief)
1990 Mazda Miata (never should have sold this)
1983 Mazda RX-7 GS (project, didn't run)
1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R
1996 Honda Civic (never again...)
1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R
2006 Chevy Cobalt (also never again...)

...and now, absolutely nothing. :(

Not unless it was the 442, which I'm not sure on big block muscle cars, But I remember the 442 from "The Hitcher" movie, that thing looked darn sweet,

Then it either came with a 400 or a 455. The 442 was designation for the for a 4 barrel carb, dual pipes and a 4 speed transmission, not engine displacement like people think.

The Olds he's talking about isn't a 442 model anyway, and the Delta 88 didn't have a 442 option. He stated it was a big block by the number of cubic inches it has, so it's not a 350, the closest logical engine would be the Olds Rocket 455 that was in that car. Those were the only 2 engines offered in that year.

My history...

02 540i (with M package)

02 Highlander Limited V6

06 Saleen s281

06 Is300

09 G37s coupe
