Hi peeps,

As expected the first episode of the BBC's Top Gear (series 6) is now available for download in the GT-TV. :)

The bad news is this is SD video, the good news is it is absolutely free.đź‘Ť

There are 2 parts for download as the whole show runs about 50 minutes. Enjoy !

Official confirmation will appear soon in the game's News section and on the official website.

Damn, is it only for Japan... :indiff:

It will come later for the PAL version owners, there's no doubt about it.


Try to quit the game and enter again in order to get the NEW icon on GT-TV. Maybe you just need to refresh.
 
I'ts nothing here.... Hmm. I've got the Eu BD version (I am in Norway).

I do hope we can export these huge files to an external harddrive, because I'll be out of space on my 60Gig PS3 after downloading all episodes, I know, I should resist, but I'm a big fan of these guys so I'm going to download all of them, even after seeing all episodes like 4 or 5 times each :-)
 
The problem i think is that they'll have to add subtitles for all the different languages here in europe.

there will be 40 episodes... :nervous:

seems like episode 1 will be available from today until April 27 only.

well it's true that all episodes except the polar special were in SD, but they all were in 16:9 not in 4:3. I've got most top gear episodes and most of the new one are in 16:9 only the really really old episodes are in 4:3.

It IS upscaled. You didnt notice your TV switching back to SD did you?

BTW they also removed the tokyo motorshow video, the digest and the christmas movies.
