This looks like a good combo Sphinx. 👍
With all the GT5P races at Suzuka recently I think I know the track pretty well, and we have all run the M3. Should be some really close times by weeks end.

EDIT
The M3 with +4 power is only 352 hp. With + 6 it is 359. Which one do you want us to use?
Thanks

Oh man... this looks like such a sweet combo. But I'm not going to race it, as Hugo requested. :( Maybe I'll just do a few laps for the heck of it just because it's so much fun.

I think I can't drive Suzuka anymore without pro physics... :scared: But it should be good fun anyway.

Yay! My fav track! Had a first go, got this:

T1: 59.507
T2: 1'49.311

As said, this was my first go, first T is quite ok, but there's a lot of time to take. Great combo!

Looks interesting, I'll give this a go after school tomorrow

German Car at Japanese Circuit, huh, ironic in a way

Ran for a bit tonight.

1:00.548
1:50.643

Nice car, nice track. I guess that means it's a nice combo. :dopey:

Kevin

I might have to get a run in.... this weekend! :D

ran a few laps and reached a time i'll submit with splits of (using +4 percent power)

58.324
1.47.248

I had a hard time with this race so far, could not get a rhythm going...
So are we using the +4 or the 359HP?

I'll just boot up the PS2 and check. I know I made a last minute adjustment, but I can't remember exactly what it was. Be right back...

First post amended.

Here are some new splits:

T1: 59.048 (have seen 58.9xx)
T2: 1'48.496

Oh I just love Suzuka!!:D

Here are my first splits:

58.506
1'47.501

Good fun  Hope to shave some more time off later this week...

1:00.881
1:51.729

Might be all I can do this week. Be back late Monday.............good luck all!

A few laps because I have to get some form of speed back with this game for the LAN weekend ... 58.616 / 1'47.952 not fast enough and damn twitchy to take the 130R :ill:

Time submitted .. Cya's next week guys

See you next week guys.

I ran some laps of this combo with the 359 hp so no times to post as of yet.

What I did drive was a blast and should be an easier combo for me with the less hp.

My brake pedal declared its independence from my left foot. Although I'm perfectly fine with him doing my left foot's work, i'm not quite getting why he is braking on the straights and ruining my effort. It keeps blinking. Sadly, I'll skip this week. BTW, Is it OK to cut corners at the chicane and get a fast start? If not, how would you know if someone does this since it'll not be visible in the ghost replay?

Yusuf, just open up your pedal box and put the potentiometer back in place. The problem with your brake pedal won't solve itself over time. Also, the week is still long enough :sly:

BTW, Is it OK to cut corners at the chicane and get a fast start?]

Wrong question :yuck: We've been here too many times... The answer is: NO

had some more laps and improved to

58.211 (.078)
1'47.075 (.003)

had a medicore finish but happy with the lap time, .9xx's for t1 and 1'46.8xx's for t2 are probable given enough hours

I had a morning session with the 352hp.

First splits for this week.

1'00.485
1'50.541

Lost a lot of time on 180 lefty.
And a little coming out of the spoon.
And.....

the 'LUXY" link doesn't work :/ Not everyone has it memorized like me :ouch: lol.

Wow, it worked. Thank you very much!!! The little nick was out of its groove. Put it back and everything(maybe not everything) is back to normal. Maybe you can tell me how to fix my right paddle shifter:dopey::dopey:, it shifts in double increments. I also hate the brake pedal's stiffness; there is absolutely no difference in feeling between %10 brake and %35 brake(maybe some-0.0001N:grumpy:).

Wrong question :yuck: We've been here too many times... The answer is: NO
Always better to make sure since there are no instructions relating to this. It says 2 wheels on track ALL time; it could mean all time during the replay or else. Thanks for this too.

Great combo...ok my first try at this weeks combo, which is enjoyable and should prove intresting :)

SPLITS:

T1: 0'59.884

T2: 1'49.933

QUIK!

I'm not fully adjusted to the game yet but here's my first 30 min session (with a few more restarts than I would like hehe)

T1 - :59.249 (saw a 59.0x a few times)
T2 - 1:48.770 (should be able to hit 1:47.9x or close to it :scared:)
Final - felt good, its easier to get clean splits here than in GT5P imo, anyone agree?

Try this thread for your wheel repair issues. I used their advice on my double downshifting issue a few months back, worked like a charm. Radio Shack has some nice silver bearing electronics solder and a dual temp iron. I picked up both for about $15. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=71223&highlight=double+shifting

But............You braking problem might not be corrected with the DFP. I recently purchased a G25, and the pedals on that wheel take care of this issue nicely. :)

Good Luck. 👍

Kevin

EDIT: New splits for me after another session tonight -

59.877
1:49.750

Lots left out there, for sure...........

If your trying the same combo with standard physics then I'd agree, although I've been playing g5p with a wheel and gt4 with the ds2, I'm commited to wheel'n gt5 :sly:

I've had some beter sectors but this is my best save, can def see 47.x t2 and another .5 at the line, never have been able to drive this car near potential but it's fun 👍

59.020 (58.76x) / 1.48.248
