By the way, I would think that most PAL drivers in Europe would come online after about 1-2 PM EST. That's 6 PM over there, and most should be off work.

Today was the first time I've seen five cars ghosted at the same time because of ramming and shortcut penalties.
It's a complete rampage out there. You will get punted, and there is no escape.

If we get enough GTP drivers in at the same time we can reduce the number of punters and have a better race.
I say just forget about winning and try to avoid the punters by not giving them a clear shot at your rear bumper and enjoy the racing with GTP members from PAL and NTSC

I had the same problem before. Do you have java script installed? A javascript is suppose to pop up when you click on the link and you click yes if everything is working right.

I just did a random drive. The connections seem to be quite good, only minor jumpiness of some cars. It is a puntfest though, and I pray to god Polyphony is looking and they are ashamed! 
EDIT: there's another problem appearing here: the ghosting system doesn't work properly. There are a lot of people who lose it in the bends (partly because of using quick, yet difficultly handling cars), and the often don't ghost as they should. This generates even more confusion amongst the others, as they never know if they should just carry on and hope for them to ghost soon or try to avoid them by braking hard and ruin the race for the bunch behind.

Lol that was kinda funny.. 2 races, 2nd place in both. Would have had a first but the guy started ramming me as i was cruising past him on the way to the line.. guess he just wanted it more than me

Holy crud! That's just insane. Maybe us NA drivers should quit our complaining. I've NEVER been in a race with that kind of punting when it was just NA drivers. It was just brutal. The sad thing is, I could consistently lead the pack in a Lotus, but because it doesn't have enough power to stay ahead down the straight, I have to rely on making it up in the bends. But in the international race, once even a single driver catches me I'm doomed, because there is zero clean racing and I'm just sent spinning in circles. In a clean race, I'm fairly sure I could be very competitive.
But, I do feel good that I've often managed to take and then keep the lead position for 2 of the 3 laps before being punted.

When they notice they can't follow you, they also start grinding in the curves to gain on you.

Yeah, because every driver outside of North America is a punter.
I've not driven it yet, but from everyone else's comments, it seems PD have just given us the worst of everything. Standard physics and HSR is always a wall-riding, puntfest in my experience.
