After a somewhat messy and otherwise mixed-up thread, we're to the voting segment. Same rules as before guys, choose two (and only two), and feel free to banter about the choices as well. I feel like four days is a bit too long, I'm going to knock it down to three after the shockingly close British match.

Vote away my friends!

The Lifan320 for being such an amusing knock-off of the Mini Cooper, and the FAW Vita for being what could be described as a genuinely good Chinese car.

And the Citroen, the MG and the Buick aren't Chinese (he says, opening a can of long, squirmy invertebrates).

No. I'm stating I would have voted for that 20-year-old-piece of AMC engineering excellence had I known it wasn't a knock-off.

Wasn't that Jeep the one that stirred up the controversy over how many slats are supposed to be in the grille? My memory isn't what it used to be it seems.

I still love that Lifan bugger. Its too damn cute to ignore!

I decided to be stubborn and grumpy, and refused to vote for anything that was a blatant copy. It annoys me that the car industry over there don't seem to understand imagination or flair. Amusing as it is that they constantly nick everyone else's ideas, I wouldn't ever consider buying one and so I couldn't possibly vote for it.

Or an ancient car they're just reproducing. Or anything as ugly as the day is long. Or anything that isn't actually Chinese brand wise.

So I went for the FAW Vita and um... well... oh, d'ya know, I can't remember. That's a shame. Real shame... *whistles*

I voted the Park Avenue, and again forgot I can vote 2 options.:ouch: The others are all so last millenium. (Except the Citröen)

Which two won't crumple worse/easier than a coke can? Those would be my two I'd pick. Ironically, I'd imagine the GM is a "decent pick"... xD

You know, I think the Summer Olympics should help Chinese automakers get up to snuff, as more attention gets focused on the country. Right now, there aren't many great choices...but we might see some improvement fairly quickly.
