The latest rumor coming from kotaku and 1up:

"Sony's rumored plans for a new PSP—supposedly dubbed the PSP Go!—may also usher in a new wave of games becoming digital downloads for the device. That includes, allegedly, the long-awaited arrival of Gran Turismo Mobile.

No. Really. According to 1UP's report on the oft-rumored PSP-4000/PSP Go!, Sony will be releasing about 100 new and classic PSP games in downloadable form on the PlayStation Store when the new PSP launches. 1UP even writes that Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo Mobile is "said to be one of the premier launch titles.""

If GT mobile is only released on this new PSP and not on the current PSP, I don't think I could buy another Sony console.....

I do not trust. Why Polyphony Digital doesn't write it in own official site? Why 1UP doesn't show it by video interview with Polyphony Digital?

Probably because Polyphony digital wasn't planning on this information getting out and are waiting to make it part of an official release at E3 with the official PSP2 announcement.
 
I hope its true wouldnt mind if GT5 had a march date then its GT after all in your hands, but the main issue im concerned with again is the same as what we had in 2004, GT mobile was hyped just for the sales tbh and I can see some people falling for it again, I belive it but that past event has led me to certain doubts.
 
Its fun to read these thread now afterwards. So far it's been almost only good news about the upcoming GT titles. The only thing I don't love is that there is no part tuning for GT Mobile. But I understand why. I'm still thrilled to have 800 cars and Nordschleife right in my pocket.
 
There will be a quick tune system in GT PSP.
 
Kaz said that no aftermarket upgrades will be available. -I think this is causing confusion. We'll still be able to tweek the cars.

Same here... I bought my PSP agggeees ago specifically so I could go round the ring whilst sat on the ferry on the way to the ring lol... have been about 8 times since then and still no GT mobile.

with that and the delays for GT5 it has taught me not to buy a console for a game that hasnt come out yet anyway

But it is hard to resist when you want to buy something.
 
I almost bought a psp back in 2004 just for GT. I'm so glad I didn't buy it back then.

It's better late than never.

So you only want just this ONE game on your PSP, and play nothing else at all, ever? More the fool you then for getting a console years ahead of the games release.

I actually bought mine for Gran Turismo aswell. But I got Daxter with it and that opened my eyes for other games. Then I heard about DarkAlex and M33 so my PSP has been used a lot of hours outside Gran Turismo. But also a little GT1 and GT2 :P
 
'GT Mobile' will work on every PSP system.
