Thinking about GT5 last night and how massive this game will become if via Gran turismo's website/server they could host on-line races from car enthusiasts clubs for example.

Lets say you drive a Porsche and are a member of the Porsche owners club and the Ferrari owners club challenge you for a race - that would be great.

Also car magazines like Autocar, Car, Evo, Drivers Republic, Car & Driver, max power etc could have dedicated on-line races so that we could race against some of our favorite writers.

There could be involvement from the manufactures where we could race against drivers from the British Touring Cars or other race series.

Will GTPlanet have the option to have interesting races hosted on-line like 'Hot Hatches' from the 80's etc so we can easily jump into on-line races where everybody is in Astra GTE's, Escort XR3i's, Golf GTi's, Renault 19 16 Valves, etc?

On another note if Logitech did bring out a new super duper steering wheel can you imagine how cool it would be if it had indicater stalks so that when you are blasting behind somebody along a straight and it starts to rain you just put on your windscreen wipers using the right stalk and then move it to the next faster position as it totally peeing it down now and the windscreen wipers can just about keep up clearing all the spray, you then spot a chance to over take so you pull back on the left indicator to give a cheeky flash of your main beam then push the indicator up so you indicate and then overtake the car in front.

So simple to impliment but it would really help to immerse you deep into the game.
Anyway I digress.

The first 3 cars I'm going to test drive (if they are in the game) so I can see them inside and on the replays are ...

1. Ford Sierra RS Cosworth - 3 door whale tail
2. 2009 Ford Focus RS
3. Bugatti Veyron

Whats your top 3 cars you will try first?

The New to GT series which I'm mostly looking forward to seeing are tyre skid marks as i feel these are very simple to impliment and without them the game loses its credability.

First 3 drives? Whatever cars are in the licenses (just B license initially), after that whatever I buy from used car, it depends on what is available.

Well... not super cars, but:

1 - Peugeot 207 1.4 ( my real car and i'm really want to know how the suspention will work in the game).

2 - Toyota Trueno AE86 (i know, i know... but i'm watching Initial D again and really want to drift this old little car for “real” in GT5. *.*

3 - And the Suzuki Escudo with cockpit view. When i have 11~12 years this car really made mad. =P

If they're in the game again, which I'm hoping they are, I would drive:

1. Saleen S7 (twin turbo if that's the version they have)
2. Dodge Neon SRT-4
3. Lamborghini Murcielago (of course if GT gets the license)

My reasons:

1. The S7 is probably my favorite car of all time, especially in the TT version. I love pretty much every part of the design of the body, and it makes a pretty nice noise too.

2. The SRT-4 is my personal daily driver, and I've had much fun with the car. Now I want to be able to drive it in GT with the interior view on a race track since I've never track driven my car except on the drag strip. I know its in GT4, so I'm hoping they don't scrap it for GT5.

3. The Murcialago is probably one of the best sounding cars in the world in my opinion. An awesome, deep note in the low rpms...ranging up to a screeching sound of speed and power in the higher rpm range. Gives me goosebumps every time :)

Now if only PD will get the Lambo and Porsche licenses...

The license cars, or if i can buy:

1 - Civic Sir 93 (i hope)

2 - Silvia S15

3 - Impreza WRX 94 or 99

Sorry my english.

First 3 drives, probably Arcade mode :

1. Subaru Impreza WRX STi ( 2002 if available, if not 2007 ) on Trial Mountain
2. Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 on Nürburgring Nordschleife
3. Some race car ( if the damage thing is true ) in Tokyo R246

about your wish list cars, for me the sierra rs cosworth there will not be... i never saw it in a gt series...

however my three there would be:
1- punto gt
2- integra type r 96'
3- bmw m3 e30

Zonda F - Imagine that magnificent interior enlightened by few sunrays through the trees of Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Mazda 787B - That claustrofobic one seat interior with racing switches, flying through Bentley straight of Le Mans.
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 - That screaming V10 will fulfill the woods of El Capitan with frissoning uproar.

1. Saleen S7 TT (RF2k3, I to have a deep love for this car.)
2. Pagani Zonda F (just for the noise)
3. Audi R15 (for the speed)

1.lamborghinii lp560-4
2.mazda furai
3.ktm x-bow
Reasons why 1. lamborghini lp560-4 it is a brilliant car and i would like to see how it compares to real life.
2. furai looks awesome and would like to see how it goes
3. ktm x-bow look at it should be in transformers movie.

i anticipate that this is going to be a hot thread

First three cars that i would test drive

1.) Porsche Carrera GT (if its included)
2.) Mercedes C63 AMG (Oh yes, it definitely is there)
3.) Porsche GT3 RSR

Chris

My first three would be the which ever cars are used for the first three license tests. Either that or the best bang for your buck.

Holy crap, you guys are optimistic beyond belief. Settle down before you have a heart attack.

But on topic, I really don't know, as there aren't any indications as to what is going to be included, but I'm with Jackington. First three cars I win or first three that give me a good deal.

1.2003 Cadillac Sixteen Concept
2.1970 Chevrolet Chevelle 454
3.2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS
4.2009 Dodge Challenger SRT-8

1. It has a 13.2 L V16. 1000hp and 1000lb/ft of torque
2. Its in GT4 but I can't wait to drive it with GT5's physics
3. The return of the camaro 6.2L V8 422HP 0-100 4.7sec
4. A mix of old and new school. Love the old school look. It is heavier than the camaro but still looks fun to drive.
I love big heavy cars as you can see:sly:

Its maybe not the first four cars that I will drive but I absolutely want to see them in GT5 or at least 2 of them

1.Mazda Furai due to the sound would just love to drive it.
2.RE Amemiya GT300 RX7 for fun and see what lap times I can pull out of it.
3.Mazda RX3 or R100 Hopefully they have an old Mazda from the 70's like all the other Japanese maufacture.

Darn, he thought of it first.
First 3 drives, Arcade mode :
  • Toyota Supra MkIII
  • Ferrari 355 Challenge
  • Ford GT LM II
Depending on what's available.

In GT Mode:
  • Toyota MR2 MkI
  • Toyota Celica GT-4 RC '91 (J)
  • Nissan 240SX hatchback
Depending on what I can afford. And yes, I'm going to be using the money option in order to jump on some used cars which I know I can't live without.

Size wise, I expect to see about 90 tracks of various configurations from up to 70 locations. I played GT4 14 months and still have yet to do an endurance race, and some races I kept doing over and over because they were so darn fun. GT5 I expect to last about 15 - 16 months before I touch an enduro.

#1 Honda civic EG coupe, Which i will turbo charge, "Suzuka full"

#2 Dodge neon SRT4 stage 3 turbo, tokyo RS46... Japan isent the only place that built 4 door 4 banger monsters capable of hitting 160mph which it did. ;P

#3 Mines nissan skyline BNR34 stock, Trial mountain " Night"

first three? I'm thinking

1. Abarth 500
2. Suzuki Cappuccino (always my gran turismo favorite)
3. Gen1 MR2--if used cars make it in

I'm thinking gt5 will be about as big as forza 2 was. like forza 2, it will probably be a bundled game, have a couple forums doing league play, and that's about it. public play will be a demolition derby.

1: Caparo T1
2: Bugatti Veyron
3: Ariel Atom 300 Supercharged

And any of the motorcycle engined Radicals....oops thats 4 damn!!!
