Standard Clean OLR Rules:

  • 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times
  • rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  • runoff areas are not part of the track
  • no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • if you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • no hybrids
  • no cheating of any kind, these are relaxed races and we are experienced racers, we know what times can be done, and we can read your mind.We will know.
  • nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
  • save your best lap/ghost replay

Thread rules:

The following information cannot be discussed in this thread (they can, however, be discussed on MSN or via other private conversation methods
):

  • lap time
  • Any information which can be used to infer laptime

The following information can be discussed in this thread
:

  • T1 and T2 times
  • Any settings discussion.

The posting of settings is encouraged, but it's certainly not mandatory. We respect anyone wishing not to post settings, so please do not publicly ask someone to post their settings, they will if they want to.
It is however expected for splits to be posted if you're taking part.

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 32 Submission ) to (Vaxen):

  • Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
    [Division#]---M'SS.XXX---GTP_Tag
    (Example-) [division 2]---1'44.678---GTP_Sjaak
  • you can submit only once
  • please include in your submission PM your division, GTP_Tag and final lap time
  • the deadline is Monday 15 June 11:59pm GMT
  • if you are unsure of the deadline try this site

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • when a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Good luck, :gtplanet:

Nice one Sjaak 👍 first time this beauty is being used if I'm correct, and I know some drivers stay away from it because of its cornering behaviour :D

Gonna take some more time to try and pass Nuke from bottom spot in combo 31 before jumping in the Fiorano and finding out what compound fits into the 650PP package

A greasy track in a car with a loose rear end. Too bad I missed out on the Focus at Eiger :( This might cause me to backwards in rank!

My opinion, this is too much for us bottom feeders to handle.

Dont be like that. If you dont like the combo then dont run it, seems unfair to bash it because you dont like it. Kind of harsh to Sjaak who takes his time each week to put this together.

I'm sorry if you think my feeling is harsh. But, strap on my shoes, you're Div. 1 silver. You're more than capable of racing this with having positive results. It will be overwhelming to some people in lower divisions.

Why do you think PD has 3 different skill brackets in online races? Beginners can't handle an 750PP 10 Lap race at Fuji or Suzuka. Racing 800PP at HSR is cake for you, but may be challenging for a beginner dipping his feet into a deeper part of the pool.

Dave,The WRS for this week is a free run hotlap.
It is not an online race.

That's why we have the division system.

Each division has a competition within their division.
So div.4 racers compete with other div.4 racers.

Check the results thread in this forum.

Thanks Sjaak. Please understand that I mean no offense to you for your choices.

May as well post a target time for everyone... been 0.2 quicker than this to T2, but this lap has a nice T3.

T1 21.543
T2 54.605

Absolutely fantastic combo... so hard to avoid the temptation to just drift the 599 round as it's just so adjustable.

My T2 is about 55:2xx

Hi Zujo,

Would you be able to post your exact T1 and T2 times (not with "xx") so that the guys can put you on the leaderboard please?

All the best
Maz
