Are u serious?
For those who thought the Zonda Tri-Colore was the last Zonda to be produced, its time to guess again....

An Oil Sheik from Qatar, namely Ana Al-Thani, has ordered a personalized Zonda in baby blue. 700 HP and only one of them in the world.. :) Talk about exclusive!

It seems that the Zonda isn’t going down without a fight. A recent trend towards producing exclusive, owner-specced one-off vehicles means that Pagani will be cranking out a few extra cars for those lucky enough to have the cash. This latest car belongs to supercar collector Ana Al-Thani.

Rumours collected from TeamSpeed.com suggest that the Uno will feature a 700bhp, uprated engine. Similarly, parts will be shared with the R and Cinque to make the car lighter overall. As with all Al-Thani cars, the Uno will be finished in baby blue to match with the rest of the collection. We look forward to seeing the car finished and on the road!

All I can say after seeing the pictures is.........

well......

nothing except  at the pictures!!:drool::drool:

Get me a towel someone, QUICK!

Can't wait to see it finished... Its still in production at the moment... It will have different components from the R and Cinque versions, so should be interesting what the finished product will be like :)

You can never have too much Zonda :D

Not my choice of colour although it does work. I like that the calipers and valve covers are in blue too.

My gosh, that's sexy. <3

EDIT: Seriously, that's one of the most awesome supercar rears I've ever seen.

Those smoked rearlights work really well here, dont they? :)

I thought this thread was about someone pimping their Fiat Uno into a Zonda look-a-like, thankfully it's just another oil sheikh pimping a Zonda apparantly.

 Now that would be funny.... Would love to see something like that...

I wish I was a sheik and call up Zonda and tell them,

"Yo build me a fast car."

Edit: I mean call up Pagani...wow how can I mess that up.:dunce:

I have no desire to be a sheikh, although they do dress sensibly for that climate ( might try it myself when a heatwave occurs this summer, although dressing up as a sheikh may not be percieved sensible by everyone ) but I do like to fantasize having unlimited financial ability.
At the moment I would be extremely lucky to get hold of a Pagani brochure unfortunately, and although ordering a one-off Zonda might be out of our league for most, for a sheikh it must be a cheap action model compared to the outlandish specially made custom-build unique cars some seem to own.
The Sultan of Brunei springs to mind ( although not technically a sheikh ) as he owns some truly extraordinary machines ( he even lets Pininfarina design and build one-off Ferrari's exclusively for him and his family ).:)

^Doesn't the Sultan of Brunei has like 20 of the same Rolls Royces?

Even if I were that rich I wouldn't have that many of the same car.

And about the Sheiks being rich, I remember as a little kid growing up in Saudi Arabia there was this one really rich sheik that came to prayers every Friday in a different Ferrari.

This is a case of more money than taste as per. The Cinque and all other special variants of the Zonda road car are too garish. The original Zondas and the first version of the F (no naked CF) had it perfect, they were exotic but not garish. Now they're just tastless, I love the looks of the Cinque's body (a road going 'R') but the painjob just ruins it, same with this.

I don't like the rear diffuser on this car, especially the additional winglets on the ends. It would look far better without it, though obviously it would take a performance hit.
The bodywork stretching down to the edges doesn't work either for me. They should have just had a finished, more rounded end at the bottom with a simpler and more elegant diffuser.
But hey, I can always ask for that when I'm super rich .

Nice :)

Pagani Zonda Uno one-off takes to the streets of Modena

A little over a week ago, we brought you initial details and images of the Pagani Zonda Uno, a one-off special supercar commissioned by the Qatari royal family. Those first images barely gave us a sufficient glimpse, but a couple of fresh ones (with some sort of protective film apparently covering parts of the bodywork) and a trio of videos provide the closer look Zonda fans have been asking for.

An intrepid observer, apparently drawing no ire from the staff at the Pagani factory, managed to capture footage of the turquoise Cinque/R hybrid (as in, blending elements of both models, not a gasoline-electric drivetrain) kicking over and driving up and down the road by the plant. Follow the jump to check out the video footage, and click the thumbnails below for the fresh pair of images.

The wonders of Autoblog :D It does sound sound pretty damn good even though they didn't seem to properly nail it, probably didn't want the owner to see his car getting caned on youtube before he'd even picked it up. I had to laugh when the guy filming it ran up the road, he didn't seem very athletic!

Just imagine how much more awesome it would look in almost any other colour.

I don't know, given the unusual contrast in colours, it helps differentiate it from just about any other car, which is kind of what you want when its one of a kind.

I'm starting to wonder...

This guy a Richard Petty fan? Seems he likes his cars that same electric blue...

I wonder if these really rich sheiks really enjoy their cars or if its just about bragging.
Sadly, it's the latter. When the rare, black F1 LMs were finally discovered, they had under 100 miles. Most of these guys just pick off colors to "diversify" themselves & then let the cars just sit in garages. :indiff:
