How to "cheat" the one car per day gifting limit.

You can't send multiple cars anymore even with this trick because PD limited it to 1/account/day!
Try at your own risk, you'll probably end up losing cars!
This stands as long as proven otherwise.

Hello everyone.

Are you annoyed of the one car per day limit? I think there is a solution:
-After choosing what car to send to your friend in the community section, press "ok" like you normally do.
-Wait for the "operation complete" confirmation. The game autosaves now. DON'T press the ok-button on this screen! Just quit the game by pressing the PS-button.
-Start your game again and you are ready to repeat this as many times as you want!

Notice that you can do this only when you haven't yet gifted your first car of the day.

Please tell here if it worked for you. At least it worked for me in a few trades! 👍

It is true I did it with Oze and send him 4 cars after eachother last night,

Ive then send 2 different cars to two different other people.

So I sended 6 cars in total in 10 min, and i can gift a car whenever I want.

So no worries everyone.
 
wait so you just sign out while your in the game via xbm and then game forces you to quit and then you sign back in and go into the game again and it will let you send another car? I will try this and if it works I might just throw a party at my house tonight
 
Is this only when you do your first trade of the day?

Ie I did mine this morning so I couldn't use this now

No you cannot sign out when you are in the game

1. You go to community and select the one you want to send the car to.
2. Click send gift, select garage, and the car you want to gift.
3. Gift the car but DO NOT CLICK OK.
4. Press the ps button on your controller and Quit the game.
5. Sign out of psn network and sign back in.
6. Restart Gran Turismo 5 and you can gift again:)
7. Rinse and repeat

Enjoy gifting multiple cars a day guys!

Yes you have to wait to the next morning.
But if you do the above steps tomorrow morningyou can gift whenever you want.
 
Really guys? You havent seen the easier way? Just change your time zone to either yesterday or tommrow, then send car then change it back to whenever an you can keep doing it.

That actually seems more difficult and time consuming.

Hello everyone.

Are you annoyed of the one car per day limit? I think there is a solution:
To be able to send another car as a gift, sign out from the PS3 XMB (the leftmost column). This forces you to quit the game. Sign back in and put the game back on and you're ready to send again. Repeat as many times as you want!

Please tell here if it worked for you. At least it worked for me in a few trades! 👍

If you do it this way you cannot keep doing it over and over and over again are you? You have to wait after the X (4/5th?) car you send untill the other day, atleast that's what i thought.

Either way it both doesnt take much time, you can gift a car each minute.

I've tried this and it works only once. But when you switch it back it says that you cannot send the car because of the limit.
 
can it be confirmed that if you quit the game before clicking okay that the car isn't lost in cyberspace and the gift is actually received? I just want to be able to trade 2-3 cars per day if needed. Not sure why they restricted this to 1 car, I could see like 5 cars but 1?

I followed the above instructions, the car never did send, and it was still in my garage. Not sure if I did something wrong or what.

Then you didn't do it the way i wrote it, because like i said i sended 6 cars yesterday all in a timeframe of less then 10 min 4 to Oze and 1 to another guy and 1 to another guy.

And there all gone out of my garage Oze confirmed that he got the 4 cars, the other guys didn't confirm yet but one hasn't been online since then and the other one just needed a car traded back so he is probably not gonna confirm.

I imagine this works because you send the car, then by quitting before pressing Ok, GT5 doesn't autosave and forgets you sent the car, so even if the trade did fail it would surely not save that the car ever left, the same as PS button quitting the game if a trade fails.

Then again, I'm not sure how the game knows you've sent a car but doesn't know you sent it that day... Strange.
 
Wonder why you have to log out of your PSN account? I mean I see what happens when you quit the game before clicking ok because the system didnt save the fact that you sent it.

but if you don't click ok then the car won't even send? and after you click ok the car is sent and "the operation complete" screen pops up and the game auto. saves. I still don't see how this works if you don't hit the ok button.
