Wonder why you have to log out of your PSN account? I mean I see what happens when you quit the game before clicking ok because the system didnt save the fact that you sent it.

I dont know if you have to logout out of the psn network for it to work, after you quit the game, but i did it this way and it works maybe someone can try it with just quitting the game and not logging of from the network and confirm if it still works.

but if you don't click ok then the car won't even send? and after you click ok the car is sent and "the operation complete" screen pops up and the game auto. saves. I still don't see how this works if you don't hit the ok button.

I think the text you get after gifting the car is ''operation completed'',and then you have to press ok in order to go further with the game, butt the car is already send.
I predict that once you click ok GT5 saves that you did a trade that day, but by quitting the game at that point it cannot save and therefore you can send a car again. If theory is correct then you don't need to sign off the PSN network in order to work, but like I said some one needs to try it without signing off and in from the network and confirm if it still works.

The ok button is just a way for the system to know its time to save the game, from what I understand

it autosaves while the "operation complete" button is still up though. Thats what I dont understand is how you gift it but not hit OK.

Yes this is important. Thanks for the clarification, I'll edit my first post according to this.
And might be that you don't have to sign out from the network... haven't tried it by just quitting the game. Will try in the near future.

ok thats making sense now. Will try it on my first trade tomorrow.

So in between clicking OK to send the car and the operation complete screen is when you quit?

No the game autosaves when the operation completed screen even pops up. Here watch this video at about 1.20mins http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ckPHKzmRmE

according to 078, you have to go in through community and select the person you want to gift the car to and Im guessing then it doesnt autosave? Atleast thats according to the instructions. The way the video shows, is the same way I mentioned above and it does autosave before hitting OK for operation complete, but apparently it doesnt autosave when you go in through community, select the person and then quitting before hitting OK on operation complete....is that correct 078 and OP??

Yes but I think he is gifting from his garage directly, I gift from the community tab maybe that is different i don't know i dont think so but it could be, if its not different than it has to do something with signing off and in again in psn so that GT5 doesn't register the trade.

Lol what a timing ^^ look at above post hehe, yes i think that but I can't test it now because i am racing an endurance race at the moment. So someone else needs to confirm this.

ooh well, then it has to do something with the signing in and off from psn.

It works!!! I sent a useless car to my second account, restarted my PS3, and sent another one!!!

It does autosave but it doesn't matter!

I just sent 4 cars to my friend and it autosaved each time in the "operation complete" window. Quitting before pressing the second "ok" is enough. And I also tried just quitting the game (not signing out) and it seems to be enough also. 👍

Hmm very strange then i really don't know how GT5 is registering that a car is send that day.

I don't get it. When I select a car, it just says ' you cannot gift more than one car per day'. what am i supposed to do?

You've already gifted a car the normal way today. So it won't work for you until tomorrow.

maybe the first autosave is to remove the car from your garage, then if you click the OK-button, another autosaves sets the 'you have already traded a car today' flag...

Either way nice find!

Hello everyone.

Are you annoyed of the one car per day limit? I think there is a solution:
-After choosing what car to send to your friend in the community section, press "ok" like you normally do.
-Wait for the "operation complete" confirmation. The game autosaves now. DON'T press the ok-button on this screen! Just quit the game by pressing the PS-button.
-Start your game again and you are ready to repeat this as many times as you want!

Notice that you can do this only when you haven't yet gifted your first car of the day.

Please tell here if it worked for you. At least it worked for me in a few trades! 👍
Just for everyone (and to back oze up..) This is the correct way! i just sent over three cars.. no need to log out just quit the game and keep sending!!!

Can you do a step by step guide for us Numptys please

1. Go to community
2. Go to a friend
3. Click gift
4. Go to garage
5. Send a car
6. When it says "operation complete", don't click ok. Either quit the game or restart your PS3.

👍
