Nordschleife Fastest Lap Times

Hello All,

I wondered as there is no lap leaderboards out there on GT5 what is the fastest you have done the Nordschleife track in?

Please post you times with a picture (as proof) It can be any car any tune any tires! :dopey:

I got 6.30 with a full tuned Ford GT racing soft. But no RM (Not available)
6.45 with the Countach LP400 fully tuned at 524bhp
6.20 with the stealth GTR max tuned..
I will get some proof later :-)

I saw that whole lap you did in the online free run haha, I started rooting for you lol
4:12 and that was with a couple mistakes into the grass. props :)
 
After I got the Minolta I used it for one of the "Ring" challenges. On my 1st try I managed a 6:09 with a spin and substantial traffic. (I forget which test/race it was?)

I haven't returned but I eventually will. So many other things to accomplish!
 
JMX2222 i like the idea of a website, if you could enter the time in then link to a photobucket image or youtube clip that would be super!

Putting cars into classes and holding competitions :-D

I would love to be able to edit my first post and add peoples times in there - but unfortunately i dont have enough time.
 
Damn I thought the 7:14 I pulled in my F430 was good. ( well it is for me haha) but damn nice job everyone.

Hi beanka :) I'm glad you like the website idea!

I already created a Group here at gtplanet called nurbracer which is for Nürburgring Fans only. Here's theLink so everyone is invited to join.

On the nurbracer website we can add/create a page where all the Laptimes can be posted and viewed by the drivers themself. That means that you would just need to add a few links to the OP and your work would be done here. Click on the link to view the Nürburgring Laptimes Page which I have created for "another Platform".
In this case I just need to know which Categories should be included so I can begin creating the Sheet

That's all very well posting great lap times in a car like that (The X1)

Try doing it in the Samba or the 2CV. That will separate the men form the boys.

I started with the Fiat 500 last Monday, I was surprised how at low speed I still had trouble controlling the roll on the car on this track.

But there is also a skill in controlling the X1 or F1 on the track.

The pure line and minimal loss of speed you need with slow cars also interest me a lot, I think skills are different and both deserve respect.

Maybe introducing a new rule No assists, like below are allowed:

6:28 in my GTR VSpec '09
6:31 in my Ford GT '06

ABS on 1, everything else is always off. Still room for improvement on both, especially on the GTR which I bought yesterday. Not used to the 4WD yet, and apparently you can take huge risks with it since it has some sort of built-in ASM. I think a perfect lap should take 10+ seconds off in the GTR.
 
We should change the time rules to one particular car like the FT-86 G Sports Concept '10 since it's unlock able early in the game and cannot be sold for money so obviously nobody has deleted it yet.
X1, FGT and F1 care should obviously not be allowed.
 
I just did 7.18'798 with a Impreza STI WRX '10 399bhp 1236kg Racing soft.

7.11'xxx after a few laps

My best lap in Nordschleife (so far) is with a F1 2007

5:16.xxx

ABS on 1, everything else off.
I think that is possible to improve, because I've done 3 or 4 laps in total.
 
6.32 in a McLaren F1 roadcar, no aids and although fully tuned the power was turned down to 769hp.

This was done in a race with some traffic so should see 6.20's without the full hp
 
Quit after 13m (got to the straight) in my Subaru 360.
Fully stock.
No accidents.
No aids.

(I tried on GT4 with the Benz Patient Motor Wagon 1886 and couldn't get all the way around due to the hills and lack of power!)
 
7:05 in a tuned up '10 STI sedan - ON-LINE (harder physics). I've been faster in other cars obviously.

Thanks for starting this thread. Interesting to see all the different car types doing hot laps at Nordschleife. My best effort so far at hot lapping the Ring.

5:02.358 lap in GTPSP Ferrari F2007 in Arcade mode, with G25, ABS=1, all other assists off


3:49.376 lap in Red Bull X2010 Prototype. Stock default tuning with Racing softs, G25, ABS=1, SRF=On, all other assists off. Did this lap when I was learning how to handle this beast, had SRF=On to help learning process. Will do hot lap with SRF=Off.


6:47.962 lap in Nissan GT-R GT500 Stealth Model. Stock default tuning with Racing softs, G25, ABS=1, all other assists off
