Earlier today I wanted to grind Bspec but found that having to go back to my ps3 was getting to be rather annoying. I tried to find a way to automate the racing process(mostly be able to navigate through the menus) with my turbo controller but realized that I need to push either circle also(this would quit the race) or the down arrow to get out of the screen that shows the xp my driver gained.
In trying to devise a way to make my dpad go down(turbo controllers apparently cant automate the dpad) I was searching for something in my apartment that oscillated back and forth, when I saw my fan.

I changed the design:
Now I am using fishing line. The fishing line is attached to the fan via the binder clip. The fishing line is attached to one of my girlfriends hairties, and the hairtie is wrapped around the left stick of the controller. I found the elasticity of the hairtie prevented the controller from being pulled up from the pressure of the fan pulling on it.

I also used:
- A stapler
- Two cups weighted with batteries/whatever else I could fine(to keep the controller from moving)
- Rubber bands to provide tension.
- Binder clips to attach rubber bands to.
- A can of chili
