Automatic Bspec grinding

does it still only work on a single race though? ...

It works for me for as long as I want it to...something I noticed though which may have been what happened to you, is that after a day and a half or so it was loading slower, stuff was "black" at the beginning with the UI over the blackness. I figured running the same thing over and over was taking its toll(kindof like not rebooting your PC for weeks). Do you have an older PS3?

To people considering doing this: I would strongly recommended you use something rigid/strong like fishing line to tie to whatever you're using to oscillate, then attach that fishing line to something with some elasticity, for me it was my girlfriends hairtie.

I had the best results with this, I found that just fishing line would rip the controller out of where I had it, and just elastic would end up degrading/sagging over time and would not have enough to pull the stick.

Putting a weight or something on the down arrow key of a USB keyboard has the same effect as telling the game: turbo + down, however the only problem is this overrides the same trick used on the enter key :indiff:. A turbo controller + keyboard should work though?

I've worked a bit on the code, since I lost a lot of hours with a hanged PS3 and no save between races.

I'll upload a video shortly. How it works now is like this:

1: Choose a car and it's settings.
2: Enter the series and cup you want to B-Spec grind in.
3: Place the cursor on the race you want your driver to do.
4: Plug in Bobs babysitter.
5: It will select the race, choose your first driver and load the race.
6: When starting the race it is possible to have it automatically enter the lap time view and open the camera menu where there are no graphics. I tried it but is not using it at the moment.
7: After the race is finished money and XP will be collected.
8: After money is collected it will loop back out to the cup menu and re-select the same track and start racing again.
9: And it loops from here...

Nice thing about this is that now game data is saved every time a race is finished. Pretty useful when auto grinding.

Here's what I've done. It's very ghetto but remebmer i slapped it together in like an hour or so, including programming which I had never done before. Basically it automatically restarts the race once it's done.

Automated controller, pushes X and O when programmed to do so. I plan on fully automating a controller using 4 servos, and probably hooking up a webcam, streaming the display on the internet and i would be able to control the ps3 from anywhere.

Sorry for the french video, if there is enough interest I can post it in english.
