What's with this thing? It's really expensive, and of the 3 versions, none of them change the look of the car. Does it actually improve the downforce? Anyone compared the three types available, since they all look the same as the default wing?

Do any of the other Le Mans cars have aero upgrades?

Not a proponent of duping at all...but doing a game save to thumb drive and then trying this wouldn't be a bad idea, imo.
Would also be interested in hearing the results. I haven't even tried my LMPs for this. Will check as soon as BOB finishes a few more laps at Indy.

Not an LMP, but the NSX LM can take a wing. It doubled the downforce in GT4, but I'm not sure what effect it would have in GT5.

I have no idea what the spoiler does on the Pesky, though.

Wait, we can add aero kits to a Pescarolo Hybrid?

This sounds like an odd glitch, or some legacy of early development that wasn't completely erased.

It is a hybrid... meaning it can have two kinds of downforce?

Not really an aero kit, but you can "change" the rear wing to one of three different models, each priced at 200,000cr. The question on the table is, are there any differences between any of the three?

Woah, woah, woah... slow down. Are you saying we can take the C60 to GT Auto and fit Aero parts on it??? I didn't think race car can be fit with aero parts.

Can someone please confirm that you can add a wing to a LMP style racecar in GT-AUTO?

I tried with my Sauber and BMW LMR and nothing happenned. I have the Peugeot Courage but haven't tried that one. I think it is one of the three Pescarolo's.

Thanks :)

You know, if you just read the thread title you just might get an idea of which car they are talking about. 💡

There are two race cars that can be fitted with aero parts. The NSX-LM, and the Mazda6 Touring Car. This one is probably a glitch, but it would help if the OP tested to see if it does anything.
:sly:

Yea its a glitch.... My C60 Hybride is all messed up. I feel like every time I go to change how much I want it lower the numbers are different? There is no negative numbers. It will be like +30 to +50? I'm not really trying to raise my car up here....

It's on my C60 Hybride too. It's wierd. I'll try it once I have the "Multi-Millionaire" trophy (only 1.5mil to go).

Do you know what downforce is?

I just wanted to know if it was just one car or a group of cars with similar properties like the LMP racers.

Sounds like its just the C60 Hybride that is a little glitchy or something. No disrespect E :)

No problem. I'm a little short on patience around here at times.

nice Civic btw

Thanks. That's actually an outdated picture...I have different wheels now. Haven't got around to doing a good photoshoot of it since.

I've got a couple shots at the last autox.

Nice 'teggy, yourself.

Just tested it and the wings do add more downforce, same as adding a wing to a normal car. The front downforce stays the same (no surprise there), but the rear goes from 50 min - 80 default - 85 max, to 55 min - 95 default - 105 max.

The increased downforce didn't seem to make much difference on top speed or handling though. However, I only tested it out on Like The Wind, so it was hardly a long or scientific test :P

The ORECA Audi and Pescarolo raced in the same year in the LMS (Le Mans Series), and I know that attempt were made to slow the R8 and equal it to other LMP cars. Maybe they actually are different aero packages in real life? It would make sense...

Yeah, I saw that upgrade and skipped it, 200,000 is only a cheap race away from another Gallardo, so I passed on it. Glad I did :)
