Just an interest check at the minute.
Grid of 12 including myself, 7 different circuit's all run twice to make a 14 race season approx race time will be between 25-30 mins each. Plus 20 or so mins for qualifying.
One mandatory pit stop in all races and false start check will be on.
Damage and penalties will be set to low. Grip reduction will be real.
Only aids allowed will be abs and tc.
Cars will be limited to 500 PP and drivers have the choice of Sports tyre's, rear wings will also be allowed.


Tracks that will be included are.
Grand Valley Speedway -15 laps.
Monza - 15 laps.
Special Stage Route 5 -20 laps.
Suzuka -15 laps.
Cote d'Azur -18 laps.
Nurburgring GP/f 15 laps.
Le Sarthe - 5 laps.

Time and days of races to be confirmed but all will be GMT.
Clean and respectful driving is a must and penalties if needed will be awarded after the race by means of losing points.
Two wheels must remain on track at all times.

I'd give it a go if you decide to limit PP. I ran in a 483PP room with this car last night and found it plenty exciting. (Not saying you make that the limit, but 500-515 maybe) I would also consider not allowing racing softs; they tend to compensate for less skilled drivers. Will you have a race steward for replays?

The max pp for the car is 554 and I'd like to run them fully upgraded.
I like the idea that the soft's will help people out and keep them on the track that also the reason i'll be allowing T/c.
Yes I will have more than one person review each race.
As this is my first time hosting a series I just want to try and keep it as easy as possible for me to manage.
If this takes off then i'll take suggestions on other one make leagues if thats what people want.

Race days and times will be discussed between all drivers when we get a good enough grid to start.
Hopefully we'll get a time and day that suits all.
A ball park time would prob be around 8pm GMT but it's not definite.

Ok so how would everyone be fixed for racing Thursdays at around 8:30pm GMT?
Also how about having a pre season race on the 21-04-11 which will be in two weeks time. Then the season will commence the Thursday after?

I have raced people from the US without issues.
Come and sign up and join in the pre season races to make sure. If it goes well then ie no lag issues then stay on for the season.

Having had a good think about this championship.
What would everyone say to limiting the PP to 450 and swapping the tyre's for sports tyre's?

Sports tyres should be perfect for this car. PP450 I don't know, maybe a little more = 500.

This series definitely looks appealing to me, but the time zone doesn't work unfortunately
I'm starting a BMW Race night (not a series) also on Thursdays, but in PDT time zone.
I posted a link to this thread in my thread since there were some Europeans looking to join, but the 2:00am start time wasn't going to work for them.

Id like to join your races.

Unfortunetly i know before hand that i wont be able to make it everytime, because i have shifting work times.

However if its ok with you id like to come and race those days where i am able to do it.

Im proberly not good enough to win the series anyway, but id like a good clean fair, and fun race :-)
