If you enjoy one of my tunes or just think that it could be improved just post a message and say so :) My PSN is skunkyskunkface if anyone would like to add me for fast, fair online racing and tuning sessions.

If you've got racing tires and you know it, clap your hands!

(Seems they give bigger wheels/lower profile tires to standards still)

Hi, First I must give thanks to Mad Finntuners whose DC2 tune helped me fine tune mine.

This is my favorite FF car in GT5 and a car I aspire to own in RL. Changes direction brilliantly and has lots of traction. Love this car at the ring.

I run this car on racing and sport tyres depending on my mood and the tune works well with both, although sports require much more throttle modulation from low speed corners (as expected with big power FF)

Have changed the name of the thread as I wanted to stick the following Bora tune up and didnt want to start a new thread.

This car is really fun to drive and capable of embarrassing much more powerful cars.

Just fine tuning my Volvo 240 glt, another car I love to race online. Hope to have a tune up tomorrow. I like to tune the unlikely cars :) Will be putting a couple more honda tunes up soon too, s2000 and nsx.

Would appreciate feedback for any of my tunes :)

Ok....the Vovo...hehe. This car does have a problem with speed so high speed ring is not the track to use. I have often used this car online to and have often beaten much higher pp vehicles (depending on the skill of the opponent driver) and have found myself having great fun. This Volvo is not setup to drift or even break traction without serious encouragement and despite its great weight has a pretty good turn in and good corner speed. I am still not 100% with this tune and have a feeling it could be a little better but after a lot of LSD and spring-rate tuning yesterday this is the fastest I could get it. If anyone can improve this online sleeper please feel free to criticize constructively.

I like your choice of cars. I've got a Bora that I used for some of the earlier rally challenges. I'll slap your setup on it and let you know how I get on. Do you test for both Sports and Racing tyres..??

I generally tune the lower power vehicles with sport softs but have been known to to use racings in online races and occasionally with big power FF vehicles. Every tune I put u has been tuned on softs and least for a while. :)

This is my tune for the Honda element '03. Another unlikely car but this is a tune I really like. I can run 1.26's on sport softs around deep forest and there is much more to be had. This car is very grippy and I have nicely tuned out the understeer. This is so much better than stock tune I am very pleased with it. Hope you like it... if you have the car :)

This is my tune for the Jensen Interceptor mkIII '74. This car is a monster :) sounds like Thor himself and goes like smelly stuff off digging equipment. On sports you can drive this fast but you had better be on your toes, you'll be backwards before you know it :) But really good fun, challenging but a rewarding drive if you stick with it.

On racing tyres however its a different kettle of fish... what a car, hides its weight well and mid corner grip is good, can still catch you out but you should remember... nearly 700bhp!!

Just one piece of advice, don't post too much pics for a car, and keep the OP as an index for your tunes. Copy-paste that tune in the OP into a new post.

In short, keep things organized. ;)

Sorry guys have been busy with a newborn. I'll tidy up the thread and lose a few pics probably tomorrow, thanks for the advice. Any accord inparticular?

Here is my tune For the Holden Monaro CV8 '04. This car is another that is more than willing to rip your sports softs into tiny little pieces. A very nicely balanced car that appreciates good throttle control. This is far from hard to drive though and is actually pretty quick. On racing tyres this car is mega. Properly sorted handling and quick in a line too, just struggles to hide its weight on the brakes.

Hmm, nothing fancy. A simple format, that's quite a good start. It's good that you kept all the clutter away too. 👍

Just one question, will you do requests? If you do, then I'd request for a Skyline R34 tune. Just wanting to see how people are able to improve one of my favorite cars of all time.

I have a used, fully tuned GT-R V-spec N1 (R34) '99 that I will have a look at today for you. Was considering a skyline tune anyways so happy to have a tweak for you.

p.s. this car is along way from good at the moment so give me a few hours and ill have a look between online races :)

Online or offline, doesn't matter (although I'm more active offline than online). I'll be waiting for you to publish the tunes, in the meantime, I'll complete a review for another tuning garage.

Thanks for considering though. :D

This is my tune (as requested) for the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec N1 (R34) '99.
Tuned on racing mediums and sport soft. The car has mild corner exit understeer that I feel although making the car feel a little boring actually contributes alot to the stability and overall pace of the car. If you plan to run on sports you may wish to limit or tune to less bhp. A fast and capable skyline that comes with a little bit of downforce. :)

Free bump for you, and you know what, to be honest, I really couldn't know what's the purpose of the tune without the tranny settings, but if the tranny settings doesn't matter, then this car was even faster than my mind could comprehend. Maybe I was using an extremely close ratio tranny tune , but anyway, it understeers sometimes, but it's not too much though. Maybe because I forgot to buy the rear wing off GT Auto, but it doesn't really understeer that often. Good job. 👍

I tested it at Cote d' Azur by the way.

Thanks, glad you liked it. Yes it is just mild understeer. Much faster than oversteer in this car. I don't usually set tranny settings on the forum as they will generally only work for a couple of tracks. This car also has so much torque and a massive 'power band' if you know what I mean. This allows less specific gear ratios as it will accelerate hard from almost anywhere in the rev range.
