The race, the track and the drivers, built up an enormous sensation and tension, that started with the qualifying. The Qualifying took longer than expected, due to the new way it was carried out, which is better and give the drivers a chance to post their best time one at a time, with everyone else watching or in the pits. The story goes as follow, the Sound of VTEC Honda ruled the night. Starting with one of the best driver we have in the championship TLSeiko who Qualified 1st, with a time of 1.26.5 driving a DC5, everyone else on the grid was amaze at how fast he was. As for me and D_pro. qualified 2nd and 3rd with a respectively high 1.26. everyone else was doing on mid to high 1.27. The Race started with good pace with everyone trying to get ahead of each other in an aggressive manner but not psychotic. I took my time since I was in 2nd. TLSeiko was leading the race for quite long time,with me in 2nd and D_professional in 3rd, meanwhile the battle for 5th place heated up creating tension and pressure withing drivers that qualified with around the same time of 1.27.xx. Amount these crazy battles was desperately Gods_hand86 who was the most aggressive one, Vtecsyndrome (Good Driver) who lead the pack of DC2s/5s with his black DC2 95, Sach22 green Civic type R 08, who was also battling from down 7th to 5th place, Diablofersti who quit the race with no pits stop done, ending with the blue pack of DC5 AroldyEG6 and last but not least Mcwibble (GD) who both had a great race. At the end of the bottom places were domsupra, sponfit and psi12sohc. After everyone Pitted (minus diablofersti) the race settle down with everyone taking its place down the finished line. Crossing the finish line in 1st and winner of the season opener JDM FF CHAMPIONSHIP D_professional (congrats) with a best lap of 1.25.6, 2nd Place on podium TLSeiko and respectively 3rd after a 2 way pit stop xavierFWD.This was a great race, no doubt about it. Now we can concentrate on the next event which will be held on Tsukuba next Monday. So far everyone seems to favor the DC5 as choice for the JDM FF Championship. We will see what will happen on tsukuba then when everyone will definite choose the car for the JDM FF Championship.
