Closed previous Time and Drift Trial prizes may still be winnable.

Others are probably aware of this, but just getting it out there....

I had gone back to grab a couple of time trial replays, and accidentally entered the race instead. On a whim, I went into the Drift trials I'd not had time for, and I could indeed still win the 2*10^6 credits (and suits) - not a bad smoke break* from grinding and practice

This might be especially handy for those who need a quick cash injection without advancing the UCD.

Click past all the annoying prompts about "Your time cannot be registered". It is evident that (thanks, akyp!) that only the immediately previous event remains "winnable" - July as of the time of this writing, but it may not apply when new events are loaded.

NB: These have now closed, two weeks after the original listed closing time.

Note: Smoking has been determined to be bad for your tires.

Thanks. I should have followed that up, but I had golded all of those.

One week's grace would still be handy, but we'll have to see if it still works once the next set are available, I guess.

The June set has red "Closed" signs over the track icons once inside the event, so it will be easy to tell.

Clarification -- we can still run the Indy TT for 1mill cr? Even though the competition is closed?
I only run the TT for the cr any way. My skill set isn't good enough to place but I can gold and get the cr.

Yes, so long as you have not already done it before as you only win the prize once.

These are now properly closed, so the prizes are definitely no longer available now.

It is now two weeks after the listed close date; I will check in future events to see whether this interval remains after they close if new events are released alongside, as has been "normal".

EDIT:.... And here we go again. The "current", now closed events are still runnable for prizes (not ranking). They will likely spend two weeks in that state - so Time and Drift trials 16 should be runnable until the 25th of August.
