I would like to get setups for this event and maybe I can get Max to kick down some imfo as to how he is able to put his car into the top 10. I would like our forum members to dominate the leader board. The highest I have been so far is in the 300's so if we could colaborate w/ each other we can all win.

I use DFGT FFB10 , Simulation , power assisted steering off

This is from the setup that got me to 1'11.270 .

I'm using a car I borrow from my 2nd account. the car has no roll cage fitted , but has oil change done.
So it starts at 936 BHP .
From my own experience , basing car on DF and low weight rather than high power is more benefitial.
So , use 50% power and higher DF with less weight.
Trying to find a balance with ballast + front/rear DF is most important.

It's important to be carefull with the high angle blue/white rumble on the inside of the entry and exit (after the jump) of that looping 360 oval corner.
As well as at the start of sector 3 and the 2nd last corner of that sector.
Putting wheels too far on the rumbles will cause a tyre to lift off and that ends up in the wall 99.9% of the time.

1.12.708 places me 106th. Theres more time for me but it's pretty disheartening watching max continue to pull away all lap

Yah but It's kind of like we invited the world to take the WRS challenge and see what it is like to partisapate in one of our combos and try to catch one of our aces.

I just checked and Max is holding the GTP flag high

in 6th and letting the world know it's not a picknick to try to catch one of us. "GO MAX" 👍

I did 2 laps with the FGT on Comfort Softs (could be improved by at least 2 seconds)

Driving Aids : ABS 1 only

I´m sure the FGT can do far better with Racings Hards

I just used max's settings, took the final gear ratio back a couple notches (so you're just in 7th by the end of the start/fin straight and went with high downforce (I think 5 notches from max front and rear) halved the power, and adjusted the weight to match.
By doing the gears I noticed I was actually catching max on the circle (though not by much) but had trouble accelerating on the start/fin straight, I guess every setup has it's advantages.

Ps. Sorry for crappy description, I'm away from my PS3. I might give this another go tomorrow, see if I can jump in to the top 100 and help hoist our great flag

Back in the top 10 (at the moment 7th) , so the replay is up for grabs.

I switched to FGT I had in my garage. (211km in the odometer / 891 BHP)
Compared to the red FGT I used before , this one gets one more point in DF.

Here is the full setup as it was when I clocked that 1'10.884
With a disfunctional gas pedal.. fully pressed it jumps between 98 and 100% .
Time to dust it , I quess.

It's the least I could do after you gave me sutch a big shout out at :gtplanet:

A/T should work just fine with my setup aswell , but with 4.200 - 4.400 Final gear.
Using Manual Transmission is worth learning and guite simple in the end when you can tell when to shift up by the note of the engine.

I was down to 11th for few days before I returned with another ride and got 7th.
