I've been doing laps of the Ring for about three quarters of an hour now. Using a medium turbo, my personal favourite for the Ring, and lapping in traffic through one of the events (ABS 1).

Noting my lap times, I'm getting 6:30s with your tune and 6:30s without it!

I was quite surprised as there is quite some difference between the stock and tune styles. Your tune is far more fluid, and stock seemed a lot stiffer. It was a lot of fun to drive with your tune, sideways through corners and the like, but I think it really suffered under breaking with a tendancy for the back to step out.

You've sorted out a lot with the tune, it's a blast to drive and accurate on the apices. If you could just stabilise it under breaking it would be a keeper for me.

Wow thanks for that. Very pleased to hear it wasn't a total failure :) will take what you said on board and make a few tweaks after work tomorrow. Thanks again for the feedback :)

Probably raise your LSD deceleration setting.👍

I used all of your setup minus the transmission (left it default) and I put the deceleration on the LSD to 20 for both front and rear and I ran 0:59.707 at High Speed Ring. The car handled really nice and stable thru the turns and I really like this setup so thanks 👍

cheers for that. I'll try your tweaks when I get home :)

G'day again everyone :)

Well i went back to the drawing board and came up with another variation (so very thankful for having the option to have three different tunes)

I think the handling has improved under braking - not sure i have the tranmission right, but hey that's the fun ;)

Once again love to hear your thoughts

I'll give it a go later and let you know.

I've been lapping the Ring for about half an hour now, and funnily enough every lap, bar one where I had an unpleasant argument with a gravel trap, was 6:30s again!

It's a handling King though. It's what I imagine a GT-R is to drive in real life. Responsive, grippy and with oversteer aplenty if you need it. It didn't feel as fast as your first tune, it seemed to give far more serene laps, and was therefore a little less fun. The times show though, that it is the equal of the first tune, and I imagine far more useful in a longer race due to tire wear.

I'm not really a fan of Skylines, GT-Rs and the like (rather a problem when looking at the GT5 car list :) ), preferring the more soulful Italian supercars. I'm really starting to fall for this model though.

Thank you for this tune. Very fun drive. I did the 4-hr Nur Endurance Race with this setup, 28 laps total, fastest lap 7:45:xx. Really enjoyable race :D

I tried your tune after using the car stock. Your tune made it very easy to drive. I liked it. Good one mate.

Cheers everyone for all the feedback. Glad both tunes make for an ejoyable drive around the track.

I'm still going to work of getting the most out of the transmission - i'll post back when i feel i have something to go with :)

I'm about to give your initial tune arun at GVS, your horsepower numbers seem very low...my car is not broken in at all and is pushing 835hp. Did you, perhaps, forget to change the oil? the car handles very nicely...shaved 2.5 seconds off my time! Nice.

Ok, used your tune and took the car to the Ring

After 3 laps, finally got one without a penalty (damn curbs! :ouch:)

6:24.506, all the other laps were more or less the same

Really nice tune, the car is very fun to drive, and handles very well

One thing I noticed, on some curbs, depending on how you hit them, the car jumps a bit, forcing you to slowdown so it won't spin, don't know if it's just me.

I think I can shave several seconds of my current time, let's see what I can do ^^

Forgot about the oil change :ouch: now she is pulling over 850HP :) Really enjoying this car. One of my favourites.
