Fastest starting team. Force India or Williams?F1 2010-2016

Force india. Restarted career with them same set ups from lotus got me a podium second race in.

If you were struggling with the slowest car on the grid would you restart career and get yourself in a force India or wait till end of season and see what contracts are on offer?

I've had the Williams in my first season and haven't had too many problems.

I've had it set to Professional so it was easy anyway. Really don't know, sorry.

I don't think that either of those two teams has a major advantage, tho.

The thing is you see I'm running 2nd season with AI on legend I think I'm the number 1 driver in the team because my team is amazingly fast in the HRT his times are equally as fast as the Torro Rosso not very realistic. But I'm beating him on points at the moment and out raced him but he's wooping my ass in qualifying and fastest laps in race. I presume he's trying to beat me to be the number 1 driver am I correct?

All teams are getting faster and faster over the course of the time, it's something you can't stop. Vettel is coming in around 8th to 12th in my career atm since he didn't perform well. On the contrary, Schumacher and Rosberg are coming in 2nd and 3rd quite often. I asked Steve Hood about it through twitter and he said it's working as intended.

I chose HRT as my 1st season, just bcoz it looks good to me. Didn't know the differences of them... but I was just doing fine. Intermediate AI though.

Yep your car will gradually get upgraded and go faster as u progress, objectives and R&D

Well I chose Force India for the "lulz". Since I have an Indian background I was like, seems like a fun chance to mess with an Indian based team. Even though it's techinically based in the UK, Silverstone (I think).

Yep that's correct force India are based at silverstone

Edit: although i did choose Force India in my fist year f1 then I decided to go to HRT just because I liked the car a lot but now I need to get in a better car to challenge for titles.

I chose Williams for my first team. Now in the second season I'm driver 2 for Torro Rosso and the car is noticeably faster and handles better. Can't wait to drive for Ferrari!

Legends difficulty, 50% races, I choosed williams and with tuning I won my 2nd race. Honestly I think as long as you tuned them a bit you'll have problem with neither of them.

Haha well that's not normal. You must be either and insanely good driver or an insanely good tuner. Or both.

Just started my career with HRT. Always able to put up a decent result in the race, but you can forget about qualifying, as the first three have been in the rain, and lap after lap I still can not keep up with the pace.

I went Williams for first season, won 14 races on Legendary/Expert and won the championship at Suzuka - Setup makes a massive difference, you will never qualify well in the rain (atleast not if its inters weather) but even then you can destroy the AI if the race is also in the rain (Because qualifying is faked, they can't actually drive fast in the rain).

Good setup, good practice and good use of DRS/KERS and it really doesn't take that much! (atleast if you use a wheel, i have no idea for gamepad users).

I've never driven the FI for real myself but seeing how they perform in career mode, I'd say that their real performance during the 2011 season hasn't been taken into account.

Im confused who do I listen too. Real life + many people say FI, TT and you say williams. :boggled:

I'm tempted to restart my career with Williams or Force India. Driving around on my own in a Lotus isn't that fun. I'm faster than the Virgin's, HRT's and my team mate Trulli but not fast enough to race with the Williams', Force India's and Toro Rosso's so I spend each race getting quite bored.

Think I'm gong to choose Force India, they are one of my favorite teams.
