Jesus... That clumsy opening lunge from Max made this race more stressful than I'd have liked. 😤

Congrats to Lando on his win, and McLaren on their WCC! I've been waiting a long time... 😑

Ferrari has me worried! They came on so strong these last few races.

And congrats to Alpine in their fight with Haas. That was another tight battle.

Congrats McLaren.....really well deserved.

Lewis and Charles drive to the front was nice to see. I can't wait to see what those guys do at Ferrari next season. The Ferrari had so much pace, hopefully that goes into the next year cause I want to see some fireworks 😁

For Lewis though, the guy may be past his peak but he is still very quick when he has the car underneath him. Makes me question all the struggles he's been having since the summer break and now suddenly final race, the car is nice to drive for him 🤔

McLaren's 9th WCC puts them joint second on the list of total Constructors champions with Williams, and sets a new record for time elapsed between WCCs at 26 years, beating the previous best (Ferrari, '83-'99) by a decade.

It's also the first time McLaren have won the Constructors championship without winning the Drivers.

Despite how good some of the excitement at the sharp end of the grid has been, the gap between 4th and 5th in the constructors championship is quite staggering; 374pts separate Mercedes in 4th (468pts) and Aston Martin in 5th (94ts).* The front eight completely dominated this year with their own order within that clique fluctuating. It was nice to see Haas and Alpine fight for more points, more often, towards the end of the season but Aston Martin were left floundering in purgatory after the third race of the season with little to fight for and close to letting those behind catch them.

*In old money, it's roughly the same as Mercedes having 187 points and Aston Martin having 37 points which is like... Williams-Renault to Jordan-Peugeot levels of disparity but now over one position in the midfield.

Yep, what a putz.

I wonder how much it hurt Rosberg to call Hamilton the greatest of all time 😂

He loves it and thinks his reputation is elevated because he beat outscored Hamilton one season.

Have you factored 24 vs 16 races too ? I know it's still a crazy gap...
Did you adjust points on a fractional conversion, or actually rescore on 10-6-4-3-2-1 point scheme? It could be really interesting to know what the old 6 points position scheme might have made different.

According to Nico Rosberg, Perez is looking for a payout of 16 million. Both RBR and Perez look like idiots.

Good for Checo. They were dumb enough to give him the contract, why should he walk away for free.
