yes guys the DLC is re purchasable for paints, cars and gear but not the track
money maker for sure. Also paints as far as I know are untradeable, testing gear now thou will have a report back in about 5 minutes.

official gran turismo helmet, simpson helmets out of the DLC are untradeable also the alpinestar suits are non trade items. But the untamed helmets and that are as per usual working on the idea that there maybe a limit on gear now checking but wont have a report for a while thou got stuff to do.

yeah mate I would have but it seems if it reads 0 posts nobody looks, so I did it on purpose so people have a look and hopefully leave additional feedback about the DLC.

Good to know you can re-buy the paints so you can get more than 1 chip. I guess £1.69 for a load of special paint colours isn't so bad. People spend £0.99 on one song for rock band say.

Interested to know what parts of the gear pack are tradeable though 👍

What happens if you paint a car in a DLC colour then trade the car? Do you get a paint chip that way?

Not even with standard paints. Let's say if you buy a X car in black, then paint it in blue french and send it to other account, the chip that you gonna get its the black one,not the blue one.

I haven't tried it yet but I imagine you can kind of dupe the paint chips but only if you use them on cars that can be sent as gifts. Save your game via a USB or external HDD, paint the car and send that car to your dupe account, reload your external save back onto your account which will mean you have that paint chip back then send the car back to yourself from your dupe account.

I'm going to turn my PS3 on right now and try it with a paint chip I don't really care about losing.

so it will let you have multiple DLC car in your garage, assuming you want to spend extra for extra cars???? Sweet!!

Well the first part worked, I painted a car and sent it to my other account and reloaded my previous game save and now have the old car and paint chip back. I just need to send the painted car back from my other account and it works. Just need to wait until tomorrow to make sure sending the car back works but I can't imagine that would pose a problem.
