GTP_WRS Online Events: Saturdays?

As we're seeing a lot of interest lately in the WRS-Online Events being run on a wednesday.
We saw some people posting if others were up for a saturday race...

Therefor this thread, to see if there are enough people who would join.

The saturday race would be run at 10PM GMT and would be the same as what we did on wednesday, only in a more simple version.
Being with a 15min single stint qualification immediately followed by the race.

Unsure about the time? Use this site to convert if necessary.

*In the event there's a lot of interest for this and we get more then 14 people signing up for saturday.
We would just shuffle-split everyone into two rooms and both rooms are then 'on their own' doing the same as if there were only one room.

Speedy, is this a sign up interest check for just for this Saturday Jan 7 or is it a general interest in a weekly race at that time slot?

Might be better just to make it a one time specific commitment to this upcoming Saturday -- a spot race as it were -- and if turnout is good see how many people would want to return the next week.

And don't forget Jan 28th is already reserved for our special event. :sly:

Actually it'll amount to the same thing as it's the previous weeks combo too.

UPDATE: You posted before I finished and I see it's a general interest check in the time slot. Nevermind. I can't commit to the time slot for a few months. Weekends are spotty for me at best and dedicated to kids activities, etc. But I'll jump on when the schedule permits.

Yeah Tim, it's more like a general interest check. Just to see how many people would be up for a WRS OE on Saturday 10 PM GMT.
If the interests come fast enough now, we could already do this Saturday Jan 7.

In general, I'm interested in this day and time. I can't do this coming Saturday at 10 pm GMT, but I can make that time slot on almost every week.

Saturday events would be a lot easier for me to make than Wednesdays. Count me as very interested but I know I couldn't make every single weekend, thus 75%.

I'd like to enlist but kitchen work requires me to work usually on Saturday evenings. 10 GMT is about the time when I'm done if I work.
Perhaps I can just show up in the case I can join the race, and see if any spots are available.

I think that's the point with the Saturday slot... it's going to happen if and when people show up, but it won't be as formal or structured as the Wednesday events.

As is always the case you guys can use the 3D3 lounges to organize a spot race or practice anytime we are not holding an official event. Usually, sticking to the current or previous combo, but there is flexibility there also.

If anyone wants access to the GTP_3D3Racing lounge they must have already qualified for the official GTP_Registry AND must be listed in the 3D3 Racing Online Driver Database. If you aren't listed in the database fill out the sign up form and then send a PSN friend request to GTP_3D3Racing. You only need to do this once, not per event.

@Steven - Unless I'm mistaken, I don't see you in the database so fill out the form and we'll add you.

I'm definitely interested if I make it after Orca races, so I'm prolly 25-50% if I manage to maintain custody of the TV for that long (I'm GMT+10, no DST ever - it's Sundays at 8am for me), so I'll poke my head in if I'm around.
