Anyone have a good tune for the veyron for track x racing with tire wear?

I have been working on something that will still hit 300 mph (without a draft) but corner without crashing, its difficult because the wheelie tunes will do about 301ish without draft but when you reach the corner its hard to steer without rolling over.

heres what I have so far, sort of a middle ground between cornering and top speed:

Transmission
Top speed: 255
Final Gear: 2.350

1st 4.771
2nd 3.121
3rd 2.245
4th 1.682
5th 1.314
6th 1.069
7th 0.780
indicated top speed (upper right): 350mph

Adj LSD:
front: 10/40/30
rear: 10/40/40

TCSD: 35/65

Suspension:
rh: 35/-5
spring: 7.5/18
Damp Ext 1/9
Damp Cmp: 1/9
ARBar: 7/7

Camber: 0/0
Toe: 0/0

For clarification, I need to hit about 300mph and still handle well without a draft so I can draft up to 330mph.

I was looking for a speed veyron tune so I will try this later, but why not put 60/60/5 for both on LSD? Your going straight mine as well get the most amount of power as possible.

The thing is the corners will get you. When you are taking on other people trying to maintain a drafting line and dodging wrecks in the corner at 260mph you need to be able to grip.

Also the tires start to wear down pretty nasty and you want to have minimal drama.

Please feel free to try my setup and make suggestions, I tried to do an in between tune of wheelie (fastest straightline setup) and still handle in the corner.

The fastest I can get in race trim is 298mph without the draft and still handle. I've tried several tweeks, sooner or later ill get there.. Ill tell you this though, my top speed is set to 375

Can you post your setup? I can only get mine to go 289 mph w/ no draft and idk how to increase it.

Thanks for the comments guys I will try to work the camber in and maybe make the wheelie more pronounced or even it out to see if I can get it to still take the corner.

@Ampire, what should I change from your base tune in order to reach the bugatti's Top Speed? (Without drafting)

I've seen guys reaching 540km/h online w/draft.

Maybe lowering the back a bit more, right?

Hey men, I'm using this tune and I car FLIES!!! Like a plane in the curve! I did exactly the same..

EDIT: I had some previous BALLAST at position -50. That's why I started flying like a bird in the curve... Sorry, bro. TUNE WORKS GREAT NOW!

Ok man I tried this and I could hit 290mph max and could not ever make a turn. I would spin almost instantly. I have taken the opportunity to fix the problems and made one that can go 300mph no draft and make the corners. I'll post it for you to try when I get to my comp.

TUNER COMMENTS:

I think you will see this is a slight improvement on your current tune. I tried small changes, but couldn't get it around the corners without spinning. I have found with this tune I was able to hit faster speeds and make the turns plus it has a higher top speed for drafting. For me when turning you still need to be careful tho with this. Turn just a little and when you feel it start to slip tunr in the other direction. Just small turns to keep it level. The toe helps a lot, but isn't too much to kill the straights. Finally the straights although you are going straight the car tends to almost hydroplane and the front wheels lift right off the ground. You will have to turn fairly hard to get it to shift over a bit. Just remember that when drafting someone and needing to go around them.

Normal driving: 300mph
With a draft: 350+

try 2 degrees front and 1 degree back for camber, that got me round the corners at roughly 265 266, pro tip let go of accel because veyrons turn like the titanic

Veyron's turn like Captain Schettino lol.

Adding camber to the car, doesn't slow it down? Are you able to reach the same top speed?

I am seeing that there is a fight between two ways of setting the Ride Height.

In this forum (Drag Bible in Drag Subforum) and a lot of people say that increasing front RH and lowering the rear RH will make the car faster.

In online rooms and in the last tune, I'm seeing the complete opposite way of setting the RH

SOOO... What is the correct way of setting it?

I think it's different per car. I did the lambo aventador and it didn't matter what ride height I did. It actually worked the best when it was very low.

well top gear told me that with the real veyron, when you want to reach top speed you turn some switch somewhere and it locks the rear wing down to reduce drag and it lowers the ride height... so guessing lower right height is better?

Hi!

I've played a bit with the Suspension.

I've noticed that when I increased the Bars it was really dificult to move the car in straight line. That's why I left Front Bars in 1.

Secondly, If you set Front Ride Height at minimum values (-25) the car LITERALLY STICKS COMPLETELY in the curve and in straight line. It's imposible to move it. Topspeed is 470-475 km/h

My current setup

Suspension
Ride Height: -15/-23
Spring Rate: 08.5/17.5
Extension: 4/8
Compression: 3/8
Anti-Roll: 1/1
Camber: 1.2/0.8
Toe: 0.00/0.00

Whenever you increase the FRONT Ride Height to positive Values (0, +5, +10, etc) it will be imposible to turn

I would change toe instead of camber as you want it to be more stable when driving. A lot of people bump you online and I find of they bump you hard enough and you have no toe the car will spin out. How fast are you going with this tune?

:S Toe will instantly slow the car down. But it is real that in online mode people crashes you a lot. It is still very hard to control the car at that speed.

With the settings I've changed I'm able to reach 475KM/H (295mph).

I'm turning the PS3 on to check my brother's tune... He reaches 480Km/h and it is quite easy to handle the car.

Ok I tried yours and it is the thinnest bit slower than mine but easier to turn. I still spun out with people tho. I think we have almost found the perfect balance of speed and turning.

Final gear change to 2.195

Suspension
Ride Height: -10/-19
Spring Rate: 8.7/17.0
Extension: 5/8
Compression: 4/7
Anti-Roll: 1/1
Camber: 1.2/1.0
Toe: 0.5/0.5

With this I go about 298mph no draft and can make the turns easy. I find stay as close to the inside as possible. You can literally just slam to the right and wait till the turn is over. I raced a ton online and went 370mph with it too. You are always in first even with X1. Main thing is just pray around the last turn that you are close to the front yet still behind so you can draft in time to pass everyone before the finish.

I playing right now. I'll give it a try. I think (from what I've read) that there MUST be a diference between the front and rear camber of 0.5 minimum. Thats why I've set rear at 0.8.

Anyway,Yesterday I checked my brother tune. He uses Comp and Ext at 1/1 BOTH.

Hi again!
I have tried that tune, it is horrible. There's no way not to spin in the corner and any veyron with basic aerodinamics can reach 470km/h easily.

Now I've increased rear and front Ride Height. First up to 40/40. Im still testing it. With RH increased to positive values, it is very very easy to turn the corners... You should give it a shot. I think that it will slow you down, but in online races you will be constantly drafting in straight line so that will speed you up automatically. PLUS you wont have to quit the race because you crashed.

I've just played 2 races with RH setted 40/40. In the first one, I've finnished 2nd. And in the second race i've finnished 1st.

Tommorow i'll keep testing it.
