I noticed that loooong time ago and tought they have fixed it, but couple days ago I was bit curious and tryed it...and there you see results,it works still

I find it to be annoying that PD have missed this serious bug all this time. It makes a mockery of our time and effort put into completing challenges like this when you see a stupid bug like that.

/switches on PS3 to try it on some alt accounts...

Good video but I agree that this needs to be patched. I'm assuming that's how people cheat laptimes around the Top Gear Test Track too.

You don't have to cheat. For the first TG challenge you have to make sure you're always in someone else's slipstream and make sure you stay in 3rd gear whenever possible (as this is the quickest gear but make sure to downshift when necessary).

Yes they do, this glitch can be abused online to make it unfair on those who race properly.

This. The shortcut shown in the video clip counts as a full lap when in truth you cut a huge section of track. Of course it needs to be patched, and it needs to be patched A.S.A.P 👎 .

Reminds me that glitch in one of the license challenges at tsukuba. You could crash into a wall right at the beginning and for some reason it counted it as a gold time.... Gold was 37:00:00 I did it in 7:xx:xx I couldn't believe it. I can't remember, but I think I sneezed or sat on my controller and it did it. Made me laugh pretty dang hard when I saw the outcome.

Just tried it 2 days ago. since I couldn't select Top Gear Test Track in my lounge on the alternate account. Still worked like a charm. 👍

Still a great video....weird PD didn't fix it yet.

It's quite baffling that this hasn't been fixed yet. It's been here since day 1 and yet there's no fix for it.

How on earth can they miss this constantly? It doesn't make any sense, surely they've caught it by now.

You could also ask why they should even bother with it anymore, I think they're aware of it but it's too late now for it to make a huge difference whilst there are other more important issues to focus on (and perhaps too complicated to fix quickly), and let's face it, this challenge wasn't that hard.
