Welcome to the GTP Official NHRA Drag Racing Chamionship/League! This is a league of registered drag racers of the forum that actively race and run championships in a true league. Swara96 has requested to be co-leader. He is now so.

Races will consist of cars with stock specs and mild to large tunes and will consist of rather large events and tournaments over a series of courses with similar 1/4 tracks (you know, before Indy and SSRX).

I will have more on this post later when I can find some time to edit.

Track List

Indianopolis Motor Speedway (Road Course)
Fuji Speedway
Special Stage Route X
Monza
High Speed Ring

Season Schedule TBA

We will be running every type of car in the game including American Muscle, EDM, JDM, etc.

I'm in, co-leader or not.
Edit: NVM about the co-leader thing, can I be in charge of something? Anything.

I can get in althought I can uderstand the "stock specs and mild to large tunes " and

"will consist of rather large events and tournaments over a series of courses with similar 1/4 tracks (you know, before Indy and SSRX)."

We will be running real life specifications, mild engine builds, and full blown racing tunes (as fast as you get a car to go).

We won't just be racing at Indy or SSRX. There are other tracks with 1/4 strips such as Fuji to keep things interesting.

Yes ! Finally , real life tuning for full pimped :D

Yup, I want real life tuning. I hate when people can upgrade their car for 20k with ease. I want some struggle for cash lol

hehe You know I'm always struggling for credits ;)

Don't forget Special Stage Route 5 as well, that is a good track for dragging. And also I think Le Sarthe as well.

When I mean real life builds, you have to use basic stuff like sports filters and intake, maybe a pair of headers to get you up a little bit in power and have some fun at the strip.

Make a rule saying no stages of upgrades (Like stage1, stage2, etc.) Makes it more realistic.

So, what's the first car?

No because IRL you can up compression etc by boring the block and changing heads.

IDK yet, probably Mustang vs Camaro.

can i run my ZL1 replica? oh and i can get some hot muscle cars out there and chill! sweet! my dream event!

Replicas are fine! In fact they are encouraged. Shortly soon I will be setting up horsepower classes corresponding to years past (1960-1970, 1970-1980, 1980-1990, 1990-2000, 2000-2010, Present).

I'm going to be on the Camaro side because it looks nicer than the Mach 1.

It would be good if:

Mustang vs Camaro :

SM tires
Supercharger
Weight reduction 1 and 2
Custom Sport kit suspension
the fly wheel and the clutch - 1st option (not the best , not the worse)
only :)

It would be real I think :D

Yes, and the tunes can be made by us :) Each one has a different drag tune.

Yeah but with the 1st suspension kit (the one that has fixed toe)
and stock trans.

The rest , suspension , LSD and ballast is up to tuner.

Oh...so it's the Mustang '07 vs the Camaro SS? Is that fair? The Camaro has like 100 hp more stock.

I don't know. Maybe GT350R vs 1969 SS. IDK. Lots of combos I can do.

EDIT: Lets remember that any kind of weight reduction will be illegal for mild builds due to it no longer being street legal IRL.

The GT350 vs the 1969 SS would be nice. Since I've never tuned a GT350 before, I'll go on that side. Thing is, I gotta get my hands on a GT350.

Oh ok , idk that :guilty: .

Btw which has more torque .. Z28 '69 or SS '69 ?

The only downside is that people can have the weight reduction in a lobby without people...oh wait never mind. I just remembered that you can have a weight restriction.

Can I be in? I got GT350 and Mustang GT 05

Yup I'll add you to the OP.

Yeah you might want to get one but not sure if that's what we're using yet.

1969 SS has overall higher power.

LOL

UPDATED OP

Now includes horsepower classes.

50-100 hp drags?

Oh wait, Honda Beat is what I'm gonna use in that class ;)

I can't see one in my UCD no matter how hard I look. Same goes for the ZZII :(
