I did search for last years thread but it was locked.

So that time is here again. We are less than 8 hours from Christmas in the UK. In Australia, it is already a few hours into Christmas.

So people of GTPlanet, tell us how you will be spending your Christmas day.

I will be spending mine up at my Grandparents house. First, we will have our lunch at about 2pm and then we'll open our presents. After that, we'll settle down and watch Christmas specials of our favourite TV shows (DR Who etc.) Then at about 11pm we will make our way home.

I won't be doing anything for tree day this year  .

I'll probably sit at home and yell at T12 on steam about things related to gundam.

Wow, I have such a lame life.

The only thing I'll do is probably create a lobby (No Humbugs), or just create pictures of people with Santa hats.

Wake up at 6:30am, open presents, eat chocolate, play with presents, give presents to parents, eat Christmas Dinner at about 3, watch all the usual Christmas shows (Dr Who) eat more chocolate, go to bed at about 11:00pm

Wake up at ridiculous-o'clock, breakfast, open presents, lunch around 2, then relax with Christmas TV all afternoon.

Up early, watch the kids make a gigantic pile of used wrapping paper, eat breakfast with bucks fizz (not the band, don't start!), start to prep the lunch (most of it's been done today ;)), drink stuff, roast the goose, might get dressed and go to the pub for a drink, should be singing quite nicely by lunchtime, get home to set up lunch, stuff ourselves stupid, lock all the dishes in the utility room, drink some more stuff, watch something the kids want on TV, drunkenly send messages on here and FB, play something rowdy like SingStar, drink something else that i wouldn't normally drink, eat some left-overs straight from the bowl, feel slightly hung over, complain that the kids should be in bed by now, drink some more, watch Morecombe & Wise on TV, eat something that I wouldn't normally eat, drink some whiskey and end up saying completely inappropriate things in front of the family members who've made it this far, go to bed with a nightcap and probably watch a horror film.

Sounds about right. :D

Going to spend it at my sisters place with my mum..get up around 9 and drive straight there, have a bacon roll and a cuppa when we get there, then start the present opening, start the cooking after whilst watching Top of the pops have xmas dinner about 3pm, watch Dr Who, the soaps, the Royle family then bed!

Happy Christmas everyone!!!:):dopey:

Wake up, open presents, enjoy presents, and eat waaay too much. Happy Christmas, everyone!

Who here wants to play "Pin the Christ on the Cross"?

(I'll get my coat.)

Will get up early open the few presents I get from brothers and sisters. Then start drinking before Christmas dinner then after watch the top of the pops Christmas special and all the other Christmas specials.

Currently waiting for the folks and sister to wake up, in the meantime I'll be listening to my neighbour's puppies yelping continuously :ouch:

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Well I might wake up a little early, and I will have dinner with family in the evening. As for what I will be doing in the morning and the afternoon, I'll probably be playing GT5 and other PS3 games all day 👍 .

EDIT: No presents under the tree right now because my Christmas present is what I have for my avatar and I got that a little bit early :) .

Get up around 12 think CBA and get a kfc and then play BF3.

Seriously though.

Get up at 9. Open presents then go use the new pc I am getting (I found the receipt ) have dinner at 2 then probably go back to the pc.

All the while noting some of the family come on the 29th who I will see on the 31st as I am away on the 29th and everyone else is doing other things for christmas. I have my parents but really christmas for me is.

Well here we open our present s at christmas eve (tonight)...

Going to take a shower now, prep my camera, open presents and watch others open presents, then eat and drinking...

Spend my afternoon watching the back to the futur trilogy

Oh and you know when you are lazy when this morning my mum told me to get up early tomorrow to avoid delaying christmas to the afternoon only.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Merry Christmas, Daniel !!
Did you see the guy? Answer! I'm looking for any evidence.
Sounds? Clatters? Cookies missing?
Milk spilt?
How's the chimney? NO!! Don't look up there, you--

Where is that Jolly Old Man, now? Rumuors of shape-shifting, invisibility, smell of cookies even when none were around.. . .

C'mon, guys, stopping sitting around and keep a proper watch, would you?

If it is 12 AM anywhere right now - look out and report back would you?
We got to track this guy . . .

I'll be Home for the Holidays. Yes, and Christmas, too.

Just past 1.00 PM here. I'm setting traps. ;)

Merry Christmas. Now to get us in the mood, who would like to listen to a nice Christmasy song :D ? :

Over here we have the Christmas dinner and everything on Christmas eve and open presents at midnight...

Going to try and get back on my normal sleeping schedule, wake up around 9:30, get coffee, open presents, play games, watch TV. Pretty much the normal day for me besides opening presents! :dopey:

Hopefully I'll get some new games so I can play all day! I've been in dire need wanting for Far Cry 3!

Hmmm, according to my Norad Tracks Santa App, Santa was last spotted in Azerbaijan, and now he's heading for Iran

Okay, Iranians - you probably don't have fireplaces, and hopefully no places on fire either - so look out for a large - very large man, white beard, flash of red, possibly hanging out in some low hanging cloud on a reindeer-powered chariot-thing.

Someone called Continental Air Defence by accident a long time ago - in the 50's - asking them to locate this guy - and ever since he has been tracked by them . . . well, it's called NORAD now . . . ;)

Where's the next stop?

Ross - how's it going my man? Nice discussion. Is this our unofficial GTP Christmas Party?
BTW - I've noticed with maybe undue trepidation that we share the same sense of humour. I have to remember not to get drunk with you. :)

Okay - back to what you are doing this Christmas right now - if it's Christmas right now for you.

Iraaaanians!! Report on Santa!

Dammit, stop the clock. By the time this lightscription gets there it'll be Belgium. And Tuesday.

I will open Presents, play games, watch TV, and eat lightly for dinner this year. I unfortunately have basketball practice on Wednesday at 8am EST.

Haha, nice try MSTER232 but I don't think any of us are falling for that one

Well it was worth a try anyway. To be honest I wasn't expecting anyone to fall for it and if you did, then shame on you  .

Haha, not too bad my good friend :). And it looks like it. True, true. That would probably make for a big disaster.

Ah! That's good to hear - my regards to your grandparents and all compliments of the season. I'm sure you will have a blast. I mean . . . having a blast. Had a blast? Where are we now? Rome?

Calling NORAD was no use. The guy who answered said that Santa would be in our area between 9.00 PM (today, today being Sunday the 24th) (I mean right now) and 12.00 AM tomorrow morning. Or midnight tonight.

Tomorrow, tonite . . . the whole thing is confusing. This is how Santa tricks us. In any case had a closer look at your Grandpa. You never know.
Has he got any kind of white stuff on his face?

As for me - it's 2.30 right now. Yeah, my tooth hurty, too from waiting.
Well . . . less than six hours to go till 9.00 PM. I'll be hiding behind a chimney.

And it looks like it.

 Well, that's fine with me - it's in good hands; you usually make the perfect host for such shindigs. ;)

I can't believe that some people may have already gone through half of Christmas day. And elsewhere someone may be running to get that last minute Engagement Ring . . . :)

Christmas. It's Magic. :dopey:
