Well Merry Christmas from a few days ago.
Christmas occurred, and I got given more than I deserve to receive. Biggest of all, my dad went overboard and purchased me a drum kit. I think it cost about $1500 NZ!
Usually only $300-500 is spent on each kid here at our house. So that is insane, especially because my mum went all out as well by purchasing me 3 Avantasia CD's, 2 Edguy albums, 2 Queensryche and 1 Helloween. Along with Pony DVD's (the right ones too, not the scary versions of MLP. I mean even I'm scared of the old version of the show
) which will save us all in internet bills later down the line. Also got the small Apple family set, the one that consisted of blind bag versions of AJ, Big Mac and Granny Smith. I got some cleaning stuff, loads of chocolates, socks and the usual clothing. And a few days before Christmas, my birthday/working to do things at home gift arrived: My new computer. The PC is an AMD Athlon II X2 Processor with 3.2 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, a 500 GB hard drive and now with my graphics card from my old PC. So it's a pretty good PC.
And now my brother and I can jam, him on guitar and me on drums. As a joke we're learning "Low Hangin Fruit" from Tenacious D, and I'm trying not to laugh. And we also do Tribute. And because it doesn't much drums in it I'm singing vocals along with my brother. He does the talking, I join in the singing.
