The second season of the American Le Mans Series: GT Edition now comes to GTPlanet! This is the utimate battle between America's greatest, and most lengendary Le Mans GT cars! Any American Race Car, Race Mod, or TC is allowed. The most common ones that are picked will be listed here. They are also the cars that should keep up with each other the easiest. I do not recommend driving any car that is not on the following restrictions list, but like I said, all american cars are welcome! Races will be every other Saturday. If the season doesn't start on 2/9/2013, the first race will be 2/23/2013.
This will be a twelve race series, beginning with 2 longer endurance races, and the rest of them being shorter.

Background information:
The All American Car Championship (the preceding series to this) season one started out of the idea that all American race cars are GT class cars. Since these American cars also happen to be the epitome of the GT class, I started season 1 in mid-2012. I think I made history as I suspended myself during this season, since I was being an idiot during Cote d' Azur. As with all of my other series, getting people to be committed was hard, the NRL was either concern with NGT or NASCAR, and with other things like regulation issues also added in, the series was called off at race 8, and ANTBUSTER97 was your champion by a considerable margin. I am hoping for season 2 to be a much larger success than season 1, and leave all of these troubles behind and lead this series to greatness! I hope to have fun, and see you on race day!

Rules of the road:
The rules of the league are simple. Race clean, drive hard. If you need to go into more technical details, here they are. All races will be reviewed and official standings will be posted after the race.

THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE: If you say you are committed to a race and do NOT show up, you will be given a warning, and if it happens again, you will be immediately kicked from the series. If you know you will not show up, or if you think you will not show up, send me a message ASAP. Try to get the message in at least 2 hours before the race.

1. All intentional contact of any kind, even for retaliation, is forbidden. This is including, but not limited to, brake-checking, running someone off course/into a wall, driving in the reverse, and/or bump drafting. If your contact is accidental you must give your position back. If you do not you are subject to penalization/disqualification.

2. Short cutting will but penalized by penalties. If penalties do not count for a shortcut and you get away with it, you will be penalized in post-race analysis.

3. Be courteous to other drivers. If you set yourself up to wreck another driver, you will be held responsible. DO NOT PASS IN INDIANAPOLIS AT CIRCUIT DE LA SARTHE.

4. Slower drivers must give way to faster drivers. For example, if you are are in 1st, but 2nd place is must faster than you, do not hold him up. Instead, give way to the position.

5. In order for a caution to be called, at least two drivers must type the word "caution" in the chat box. If two drivers do not type "caution," no caution is thrown and you may continue racing.

6. No throatcutting. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate disqualification.

7. Have fun. We are not here to degrade anyone or hurt people's feelings. I know sarcasm is extremely hard to resist but try to resist it as much as possible. Also, don't let emotion get the better of you. I know it is an intense moment when racing, but try not to outburst. We are here to have a good time, and have a little competition along with it.

The Ford GT test car already has two people on it, and I'd like to limit it to that... not trying to be a jerk here, but do you have any other car you like?

Sorry about no pictures. Anyways, I might remake my old AACC yolasite, so I can incorporate pictures, points standings, detailed rules and regulations, and better updates.

I'm asking(?)

Ok, first, send ADR_MYTHIC a friend request, pick your favorite car from the list and join my AACC room which will open at 4:30 PM EDT today. This will be the final practice room, so make sure you are comfortable with the car you pick.

What time is the qualifying session ?

The qualifying session will be held today between 6PM and 8PM EDT. (between 10AM and 12PM for Sydney time). It will be a two person room so everyone qualifies individually.

Preliminary signups close at 11:55 PM EDT today! Signups after this time will be counted for Race 2.

Qualifying and signups are officially closed. After analyzing everyone's best practice times, since only 3 people did actually show up for qualifying, here is your order based on best qualifying times.

Still open?

Yes, can't even get the first race started because even when I get people to join no one stays committed to the race date.
I'll take anyone at this point and time. Kind of sad, but really desperate.

If you're still doing this, I'd like to join. C6R ZR1

I will do this as long as anyone is willing to be committed. Also, please ask anyone you know if they want to be in my series, I'm rather desperate to get decent drivers.

I'll open an AACC room at about 4:30 PM EDT on my W1NNER101 account. Feel free to join then!

I would like to join this series.

I would also like to drive the #51 Viper. Thanks.

Great, send my W1NNER101 account AND my ADR_MYTHIC account.
I'll be opening an AACC practice room at 4PM EDT today, unless some circumstances prevent it.
