Concept
The concept is to get race series organizers and put one of their classes in the 3 slots for 1 endurance race.
To enter a class from your series sign up by:
Series name.
Class name.
Cars and their spec. If your series has no class name then make up one.
Participants for that class and their car. (up to 5 allowed you can choose who'll enter by anyway you like).
You can up to enter 1 class.

Racing.
The race and qualifying will be held next week on Friday 10:00PM GMT (still needs fixing though).
Qualifying procedure:
You’ll do a 3 lap race.
1st lap doesn't count, it is a warm up lap to fresh your tyres and make some room.
2nd lap is the lap that counts.
3rd lap just go slow until everyone has done lap 2.
The race will begin after a break and must follow the OLR rules (a.k.a drive clean).
Tyres are limited to RM.
Only ABS is allowed.
Safety Car procedure:
When 2 people call caution we'll do 1-3 safety car laps, you can pit in these cautions if you like.
When it is time for the race keep a look out for this thread as I'll send the code tp the room.

Prizes:

Overall Winner- Any tradable premium car (ask me by PM).

Exciting Class (The class that was the most exciting to watch (awarded to the winner of the class))- Gold Chrome.

Most Clean Driver (awarded to the driver who goes of coarse and touches the others the least)- Gold Chrome.

Don't care about my class (awarded to the driver who got the most places ahead of his class opponents (That means overtaking other class cars)- Grey Matte.

Most exciting battle (The battle that was the most exciting to watch (awarded to the winner of the battle)- Brown Matte.

Best Class (the class who won the most awards (awarded to the person who won the "best class")- Any tradeable premium car.

1st in Clio Cup- 50.000+Level 24 Ticket.
2nd in Clio Cup- 30.000.
3rd in Clio Cup- 15.000.

Ooops, intriguing idea, wrong timing. I'm not staying up after 2 AM, in my timezone, on the one day I am really, really, really busy. You mean this Saturday, right? The day I'm going to a Kart meet on? Then ITCC? Then Rolex? Then a symphony? :scared: I really can't run this. Sorry.

Ok but no, it is next Saturday and what time do you recommend, I'm having a feeling of doing it Friday but don't know what time.
 
My ideas: Friday 5 PM EST (10 PM GMT) will be Saturday morning for you. Might be a little bit of a long night for Britain, and Germany/France/Poland etc. Are out (it'd be about midnight.)

Invitational Series: invite people from a bunch of series to race in a single car class. This is better than having only two or three people in each class... And, sending invitations brings attention, and weeds out the less-than-worthy drivers. Maybe.

If it works out (time-wise,) the World Motorsports Association will field six (approximately) of its best drivers from both of the currently active series,) given permission.

I'm inviting racing organizers from different series as I want more then 1 car to participate in a Class.

Your time slot seems Great! I have time there so yeah we can race Friday 10:00pm GMT.
 
You are allowed to enter 3 from your ITCC and another 3 from what your other series is (Don't know the name).
 
You can have a bunch of cars in a class, but, maybe run 8 cars per class or something, too. I'm just saying, 141 laps will get old real fast if you're not battling with someone during that time.

Why not run a VLN-style class (something slow, sorta like a touring car class) with a GT class? Why have 5 classes of 3 cars? More like 3 classes of 5 cars, or 2 classes of 7...

You should have close competition. It's a long race. People will be bored.

I had close competition with 2 cars once.
If we do 3 classes or less then there'll be less racing series and I want multiple racing series competing.
 
Thanks for the invite RESH. This will be 5:00 PM EST on a Friday night for us US folks? I can enter either our DTM Series Cars or our GT500 Series cars. I have 3 drivers ready or 4 if need be. I will contact the others tomorrow. It's 2:30-5:30 am here right now. Thanks again.
 
For the record I ran a mixed GT500/GT300 series. It was great. All members had a really fun time in both classes.

You could enter both, like I said I organizer can add at most 2 classes in the Race :).
 
What are your basic regs. beyond RM tires? TCS, ASM, etc. We don't run any of that stuff but need to tune accordingly if others use aids. I still need to talk to my guys.

Updated OP now (only ABS is allowed).

It is NEXT Friday.
 
I have 5 guys in, waiting for 1 more to confirm. I would like to have 3 use GT500 and 3 use DTM. May we all use the same model, for example all 3 GT's Calsonic and all 3 DTM Mercedes? If not we can mix up the models. Also we have to nail down the exact time PST and EST as our guys are spread across the board. Thanks.

I do have the MX-5 series. But since JT and myself race in the same league, our driver selection may be cut slim. I'll ask the group if anyone is interested in participating with the MX-5.

Let me round up some drivers and see if we can get the wheels spinning on this. Terrific concept at actually a long track that wont get boring and is different from what we have previously raced in the past so big 👍's up!!!!

Thanks :D. I saw the 2012 12 hours of Sebring and I thought, the ALMS and the WEC together, thats cool :).
