There's also a user who made 3 threads asking for hacked cars. I'm not going to name names, but its in my recent posts.
I'm kinda tired of people making threads like "2day I wuz @ SSRX an I saw a rly fast X1. Haow do I do that wit my x1?"

I'd say about half of them (the ones discussing, say, their impact on online racing; or what they do to the PDA in Seasonals) are in the appropriate section because the discussion isn't about them so much as what they allow/are causing. It's the other half of them (threads about realistic swaps and threads about who is sharing them and threads asking to be sent one and so on) that should probably be moved over.

Those ones need to stop. I'm fine with people posting in popular hybrid threads, but making new ones in the marketplace is getting out of hand. These need to stop. Now. Sometimes I wish I had moderator duties... (don't ban me)

You can always use the report button. Several Trade threads have been closed in marketplace from people using the report button.👍
As much as I like the "hybrid"cars. The O.P make a good point. To many threads, and too many fuzzy lines right now.
It seems on so many levels we are just waiting for PD's guidance in this matter.

Anyway, also seeing a bunch of new members who have only appeared to have signed up at GTP just to engage in the trading/sharing of these cars.
Can a moderator enlighten us please? That's what I had hoped would happen when I posted this, didn't expect it to be ignored...

Yes man it's totally out of control. My neighbour's kids have been up all night posting on GTP and shouting and screaming when someone says they will give them a hybrid. It's really bad now, I can't get to sleep, they are so loud for the whole night.
Someone should call the police????? These threads are getting very out of hand and I'm very upset the Moderators won't do anything. I should be a mod, then pointless threads would be closed down all day, I never go outside so I would be ideal.

Nothing is being ignored and for the love of sanity, stop with the petty as all hell baiting/argumentative nonsense - I'm not interested in whom started what.
Now, for the topic at hand: the general consensus is for the time being trading of the cars will be permitted. Nothing we could accomplish here would stymie the spread of the cars in question, nor would it stymie whatever is to happen to the integrity of the game's online races.

When I try to report posts on GTPlanet for iPhone, it just has a looping circle and it doesn't send. I know that this might not necessarily be something you can do, but the maker of the app seriously needs to fix that.
And I use the GTP app for basically EVERY post on here, except for one on my PS3.

Considering it's called "GTPlanet" and not, for example "PiratePlanet" you could see why that's a far-fetched comparison to make.
In relation to GT5? People are going to do it no matter what we do.
The section itself predates GT5 when hybrids affected no one.
Because not everyone (as is evident by this very thread) participates in such, and if they should you could simply avoid them anyway?

Well I am just at a loss.
If you Moderators are employees and work Monday through Friday, that is cool and I was unaware of that. Although I have seen a couple of threads locked or moved over the weekend.
These people are sharing information about how to obtain these hacked cars that are clearly against PSN's TOS.
This place is tuning in to a petri dish for this virus.
I don't see how this site can continue to enjoy support from Kas or PD when you allow this kind of content.
At least get it off of the main forums and stick it where it belongs.
