For all the people that love flush stance this thread is intended to list what chassis fits what car with the best fitment. This thread is not to explain HOW to swap chassis; but only to give us a list to look at for the best possible swaps.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage chassis on a Scion FR-S fits well but there might be better fits out there.
I use 5,5 camber both front and rear.

Yep im confused too. Its impressive how stanced the cars looks, but doesn´t it breaks the "realistic flavor" of the game? Besides, how some performance aspects works? A street car body with a racing chassis mantain the body properties (such as aerodinamics, for exemple) or its only a "skin" for that chassis?
 
It swaps the wheel fitment/Wheelbase.

It's hard to match up because you need the wheelbase length to be almost the exact same difference, and you want the width to be a little bit wider.
 
Question for you guys building hybrids. When you put a body on a different chassis, for example, S15 body on a 370Z chassis....which of the two provides the handling characteristics?? Will the car handle like a 370Z, or like a S15...my guess is it handles like the 370Z?

Also, when you build a hybrid like that...are you restricted to the aftermarket wheel selection of the body? Or is there a way to somehow get wheels on a car that you wouldn't normally be able to?

To clarify, I'm not at all asking how you guys are building these hybrids, but rather what are the possibilities that have been discovered so far.

Also, I'm asking these questions for the purposes of building myself the my ultimate drift car :D FINALLY, fans of GT are getting what we want...it's jus a shame that we have to do it in such a round-about way, and also that topics of this nature are frowned upon by staff....is there any aspect of this 3 year old game that is a hotter topic right now? I hope people accept the fact that hybrids are here to stay, whether people like it or not, and whether it's a violation of PD's AUP or not....if anything, PD needs to revamp their AUP, otherwise that's a giant slap in the face to the GT community lol.

All it does is give the S15 the 370's wheel placement. No new wheels, no different handling, no different suspension.

Thanks Ant, that's all I needed to know :)

I've heard from another friend that when doing engine swaps, if you put a turbo motor in a non-turbo car, you cannot upgrade the turbo of the hybrid. Can anyone else confirm this...or rather, has anyone found a fix for this problem (I really want to turbo charge my premium Z33 :dopey:)
 
Yes, it's proven. I made Gunz a chaser yesterday and he requested the Toyota NASCAR V8, and all you could hear was transmission wind because it's a non turbo engine inside of a turbo engine.
 
If the turbo is an upgrade that is forced to apply, it wont make the noise. If it's an option that isn't forced, you're fine. Like, stage 1 comes with the car and 2/3 are optional.

Also I have a new car to add to the list...

RE Amemiya FD GT300 chassis also fits the s13/14 bodies with unbelievably amazing fit.

I saw that chaser las night....sexy as 🤬!! But that's going backwards of what I was asking lol....if you were to put the chaser motor into the NASCAR, would you be able to turbo charge the NASCAR? I'm under the impression that you can't...and am looking for a way around this
 
I got different rims on my S15 after I made it a hybrid. The rims I was able to put on were the RAYS CE28N's. As far as I know, you cant normally put those on the S15.

EDIT: I can also put on the RAYS VR G2's and the SSR Professor VF1's. Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think they are available for the normal S15.
 
I have also tried getting the stock rims for the car I'm using as chassi. For example, the ARTA Garaiya's stock rims. But it didn't work.
 
Like Jimmy mentioned, his thread was closed. Discussing what you're doing inside the editing is still discussing how. We're allowing the trading, for the time being, but would prefer if all the details relating to the building/editing were not discussed. Thank you.
