Regarding the driving physics the PD have already shown good things with the GTA.
Then I definitely prefer a better AI than an improvement in the sound engine.

I hope in the improvement of a field that isn't in the poll: better game design... I want a challenging and cured career mode.

I voted for a better AI and Sounds.

I'm not bothered if there is more or less cars, I'd just like to race them myself without always easily winning. Same with graphics. Sounds, Music & Effects I would also like to be focused on, just to add a better feel to the game.

Other than that - making A-Spec, and subsequently B-Spec, more interesting and challenging.

For me, Tuning and Customization followed closely by Physics. AI, sure can be better but I mostly time trial. Sound would be nice but is a non issue for me. Cars and Tracks will happen regardless(DLC and what not). Damage and collision would be great but again, I mostly time trial. Graphics could be better but are good enough. However tuning and customization are important to me. I really want to make the car my own. Both visually with Body kits, paint, decals, wheels, the works and underneath. It is fine to have thousands of cars but I want more to make the car(s) your own.

Sound, with the AI is the worst part of this list imo.
Then customization.

The rest may be not perfect but not so bad (damage are horrible, but i avoid them anyway, i don't really care) to be a priority.

Seconded. 👍

@ Fogerty, argh. If I had known it was a multiple choice, I would have ticked most of the boxes. Next time I see a poll, I'll keep this in mind and try first. Been a long night recording last night after work. :P

Anyhow, I'm sure that most people's to-fix list revolves around damage, bot A.I. and sound. Damage has received the least and latest attention from the team, so that really should be a top priority from PD, and most likely will appear in GT7 on PS4. Bot A.I. and sound have been coming along, so I'm expecting some pretty decent improvements in GT6.

There are a lot of cars that need to be included in future GTs, as well as tracks to race them on, so those need to be expanded on too. Especially with the inclusion of full on Race Mod and a Livery Editor which will be appearing at some point, which brings me to customization. Not only do the cars in GT6 and beyond need to be moddable more than ever, as a car artist I put high emphasis on a Livery Editor. Partnered with Race Mod, this will allow me to create an endless stable of race cars of all types, which is why Tuning and Customization got my single vote. Argh. :P

Those new cars and tracks have to exist in an arena which showcase impeccable physics and handling, so it needs to improve as well to the point that driving realism is uncanny. And graphic realism, as good as it is now, could stand to improve as well.

And as KKHN says, a Career Mode which mimics real world racing progression needs to be a part of Gran Turismo at some point. Kaz has his own GT Academy which would serve as a great foundation for this. And racing Seasons as well, as most sports games offer, racing an entire season in a league of your choosing.

So basically all the above. :D

I would have voted sounds but it is lumped in with music and I could care less about the music, would not want them to waste any time on that. Cars, Tracks, Tuning, Engine sounds are all important but the poll does not even have an option for anything online related which for many of us is the second most important part of any racing game behind Physics

My top three would be driving physics (it's the real driving simulator, after all), damage modeling, and tracks.

I would have voted for physics but they have already been significantly improved for GT6, so I think focus should be elsewhere. So I voted tuning & customization, AI, and more new cars. IMO, these things need the most work as they are very lacking in GT5. I also would have voted for sounds too, but it wasn't on my mind at the time.

TBH they should really work on all of them.

In all the categories PD has small problems and could make improvements.

Customization parts. Id like to actually have backfire on some cars that are loud and hear wastegates on turbo'd cars.

I think AI and Sounds are the most important parts to fix at the moment.

There are loads of tracks and cars, the graphics are good (for PS3), the driving physics are good and I don't care that much about the visual damage.

More tuning and customizations is always nice, but they said there will be so we can only hope.

Of course driving physics.

Iam not saying its bad, i Love it . But if they want to make it better and better and better , then of course they should work on driving physics .

Since PD already sorted out the Physics and (probably) the customization and sound, the next step would be improving the A.I.

I would also work on GT Mode. I still feel that previous games were better and much more rewarding in this aspect.

I voted Physics, AI, and new cars/tracks. That's all I need for a great driving game, everything else is just fluff IMO.

First of all the AI is crap. Definitely need to improve on that. More tuning options like individual parts from different companies. And more Racing Modifications Available. Lastly more tracks. I don't want 71 different layouts of a track. I want different tracks altogether!

Physics are outstanding so far, based on the GTA2013 demo, and once performance issues are smoothed out, it's a matter of AI, Tracks and Cars, lots of content! keep it coming!

I voted physics, new cars and tracks, and AI. I'd say physics should be the number one priority. GT:A already feels very good but there's always room for improvements. A few things can be added to the tuning options but it really comes down to the physics.

Game Design, I'm tired of the cheesy music, the 15 year old events and the unchanged gameplay. How hard is it for PD to give us a proper hood view and more dynamic views overall. Sound in GT is also a big flaw that needs work asap.

AI along with keeping up to date with things while not having 150 Miata's and the like is what I voted for,in layman's terms new tracks, new cars and decent AI.

I voted sound because the game's graphics already look good and I think having good sounds in the game will compliment that.

I voted:

New tracks
Honestly, I'd like more overall locations rather than one track having 3-4 different layouts. More photomode locations need to be added as well. GT4 had significantly more than GT5.

New cars
5 Skylines is enough. We don't need 40.

Tuning & Customization
Make more cars race moddable, and be able to choose what kind of setup we want (WRC, touring car, etc.). Also, as everyone wants it, livery editor. And more rims and aero parts.

I choose engine and chassis swaps. Also better sounds come on PD LFS is destroying you with there engine sounds and the game has been out years.
