I've never been over 120 in my car... Just don't feel the need to go any faster...

I went 144 in my Dad's car('99 328i) If he ever found out...

Fastest I've ever been in a car, around 184mph... It was in some kid's Dad's Supra... I was riding shotgun, and it scared the shiot out of me... Never, ever again will I go anywhere with that kid...

Fastest I've ever been on a motorcycle- 176. I was on my best friend's brother's CBR 929 RR... Scary, very very scary...

COOLEST STORY SO FAR:My Dad's friend Bought a Brand new 1969 Mustang Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet when he got back from 'Nam, he'd been saving his money up when he was over there. My Dad was ridin with him, and the got the speedo needle back to ZERO! those got to 160, so they were going between 180-200 by my judgement. They stoopped when the front end started lifting up and the hood looked like it was going to fly off. The guy raced it all the time, the only car he couldnt beat was a modded 69 GTO.

The most recent speed story was about 113mph in a BMW 325is my dad had a year ago(he was driving by himself in curvy country roads-a BMW's best friend). he dicided to stop when he realized he had tires rated at about 120, that were old and had no tread.

Fastest I've gotten my Jetta to is 147mph. Fastest I've been in a car was 160mph in my boss' GTI VR6 Turbo. It would have gone a little more but felt "floaty"

I have a few records...

In one of my own cars, probably about 125mph, was in a 1397cc 16v Nissan Almera. My current Rover 414i (again 1396cc 16v unit, just this one is 94,000 miles old) has hit 117mph, but I knew there was a GATSO camera ahead so I hit the brakes.

In someone elses car (road), 189mph in my cousins highly modified BMW M3 Evo Euro edition. Delimited, Supercharger, rebuilt engine with uprated internals, rebored to 3.5litres, lightened and balanced engine, lightened bodywork inc carbon fibre wings and bonnet, and so much more it scares me when I think of the cost of it. And before anyone shouts irresponsible, it was at a track day...

In someone elses car (off road), about 137mph, which is a hell of a lot on a dusty track, let me tell you!

200kph (125mph) on a flat road in dad's maxima......aerodynamics inhibit any further acceleration at this speed and car feels quite unstable.....I won't do that speed again in that car but will give it a go when we get our 325is
