Hey everyone, I just got Gimp 2.0 prerelease 3 and it looks pretty good. Anyone familiar with photoshop should have an easy time adapting to the interface. Its really grown into a full-fledged graphics editing program, and I would highly reccomend it to anyone who cant swing the cash for Photoshop but still wants all of the capabilites. There are Windows and Linux downloads, and since its open source I'm sure it would be pretty easy to get working on a mac (although I have no familiarity with this). I've been using it in the weekly chops for the past several months, and its truly has some good capabilites (amazing how free software can hang with commercial stuff that costs hundreds of dollars). Cheack it out at www.gimp.org (click on downloads).
