Where is the Mini Cooper 1.3i (98)?

I haven't seen it in any special or prize car lists, used car lists and it doesn't appear to be in the Mini New car area, only the three 2002 models.

I only had the game yesterday (PAL) so I didn't have time to check this thoroughly.
I guess it will appear in the 'legend cars' and it has to be unlocked by winning some event.
Perhaps the Mini dealer races ?

I'll try this out tonight and let you know... Unless somebody else already knows, of course.

As far as I know, North America does not get the old Mini in GT4 for some reason, as I have yet to see it in a dealership or on a prize car list.

I hope its there, the Mini has always been one of my favorite cars.

EDIT:::

I just went to SCEA GT4 site and the Mini Cooper is one the car list, but its listed under 2002 Mini Cooper, but I have yet to find it in the game.

There are 3 minis in the NTSC release

2002 MINI Cooper
2002 MINI Cooper S
2002 MINI ONE

Maybe it's hidden on the disk, like the Diablo in GT3? Maskrider has it in his gallery, so we know it was in the NTSC-J release.

The real Mini appears in the european car list, and is in the japanese version of the game as a Cr. 1,000,000 car.
I'm pretty sure that it is unlocked after a certain time has elapsed or a certain series has been won.
We just have to figure out which one ...

i also found out today that the mini seems to be missing in my pal version as i was going to do this kei-something-cup with it. for me it´s not that bad cause i also own the Japanese version but lots of other people will be pretty dissapointed i guess...

there was a JGTC Lamborghini Diablo in GT3, it was in GT3 Japan version but no in the US. you could how ever get it with a gameshark, i had mine with a turbo set up and a loud BOV.

i also looked for the mini and to my suprise i didnt find it, i tried looking in other British dealerships but couldnt find it. i cant wait for gameshark to make a version for the slim ps2, so i can get the hidden cars and black LMP cars with 0 miles!

That's preposterous! Taking out the Mini and including pickup trucks for goodness sake, what kind of hillbilly racing game is this supposed to be?

Someone please tell me they've found the good ol' Mini in the US version.

The new mini is lots of fun in the road course rallies, it's a down right shame not to include the original in the game. Would seem a sure thing as far as I'm concerned.

because when you are going to enter the "lightweight K-car cup" (its in the beginnersevents, not sure about the other events) you can see it in the little picture next to the name of the cup...or am i wrong?

not sure if it will consolidate for the fact the Mini isnt there, but by winning the MINI series races you get a mini marcos. Its based on a mini.
