**Korean GT4 Mini Site Launched**

-----------

More than likely most of you never knew that there is a special version of GT4 set for release on March 10th in Korea, for those that did you can give yourself a big pat on the back. The Korean version features all of the additions to the NTSC US/PAL versions and more! Well some new cars and that’s about it.

The NTSC and PAL versions got thirteen bonus cars when there really should’ve been twelve. The extra vehicle added was the Proto Motors Spirra, which I’m sure many of you have gotten your hands on already in the NTSC version. Five exclusive vehicles were originally to be included in the Korean release but with the Spirra slipping through onto other versions the number of exclusives has decreased to four. They are,

Ruliweb thread where more images and movies can be found :). Korean opening sequence and replay, Official Korean GT4 page, and information on a GT4 promotion.

I can’t understand Korean nor could many online translators so I couldn’t make much sense out of the text but I just thought it'd be nice to see what everybody that isn't getting the Korean version is missing out on.

Bumped. Slightly dissapointed at the sight of that IS200 we won't get...

Is it just me, or are those Photo Mode pics absolutely fantastic? I've seen those locations before, but the shading on these is above and beyond what I've seen in any other photo.

Wish I could get my damn pictures onto my PC. :(

I want those cars also :( (all of them), I wish they made a Australian version with a few more Aussie cars.

I Like the look of that lexus, as for the others they would have been nice to have but i wouldn't trade the PAL/NTSC shared 'exclusives' for them. Could/nt P.D have put all cars in all versions?

See, at the end the Japanese and Chinese people will have all the cars from US and PAL version with a couple more. :indiff: Oh well, we could have got nothing extra too, so... :dopey:

Still strange they have slipped through the Spirra. :) Could that maybe mean the others could be on the disc, but not normally accessible? Like the Stratos in GT3... Time will tell. :)

reminds of the race modified one from GT2 some memories (never know the textures might be in our version just need the codes? Like the Porsche and Lambo in GT3?).

I dont mean to be rude in any way but whats the big deal about Korea?

I'm just wondering if those models will still be in the other games, a'la Nomad Diablo, 911 GT3.

I'm tempted to order that Korean version, must resist temptation.

i wonder what would happen if i got ahold of the korean version, got that IS200 and tried to transfer that car to my american version of GT4...probably wouldnt work, but would be worthwhile to at least try

Tell me about it. I keep checking for $5 Play Asia vouchers and keep trying to resist the temptation to pre-order it.

Yeah no kidding! The pictures with the two Hyundai's looks great!

I'm guessing that maybe the Lexus IS200 GT-1 is just a repainting of the Toyota Altezza LM Edition. It doesn't necessarily mean it's a new car...

It doesn't really even look like the Altezza LM. And it's not as powerful...

It looks like a production based GT1 just like the one you can modify in GT2. By the way the new IS has surfaced today looks very interesting. added to GT5 wishlist duh!

It's a sovereign nation with a lot of people, a long and rich history, and a very big car industry. It remains sovereign and independent in spite of numerous attempts to annex it by its big, mean neighbors, China and Japan.

Is that what you mean, or do you mean something else?

I think those cars are on the NTSC-U/C and PAL disc, just like the Stratus and the Diablo in GT3. But they are not accessible.

PS: Probably more stuff hidden, like we saw on Concept versions. Let's not forget the EVO VII rally version, that is the banner of the site, and one of the first cars to be seen in GT4 screenshots, it's not accessible in the game. So i guess it's probably hidden.
