**New Rule for this list**

~ the Cutoff HP for my list is now set to 900HP... i know there's a lot more out there in the 900+ range :) ~

alrighty .... i'm trying to make a list of the top 20 hp numbers..... and keep in mind these are the FULLY MODIFIED highest hp numbers... so say if na stage 3 takes a car to 814, but a supercharger takes it to 816... that'd be the highest.... anyone wanna help me out with this list?

Don't forget those virgin oil changes guys :)

so lets get some input!! and remember for this purpose it doesn't matter how much of fat pig the car is, just it's dyno number:

Ummm, unless the Escudo in the US version is drastically different than the Japaese version, you're wrong... the Escudo does not have the most HP in the game fully modded.

Here are the top five in my garage:

Toyota 88C-V 1223PS (1211HP)
Nissan R92-CP 1215PS (1203HP)
Toyota 7 1195PS (1183HP)
Sauber C9 Mercedes 1192PS (1180HP)
Escudo 1037PS (1027HP)
 
hm... i thought for sure i saw the escudo came out of the package with 1900hp.... i probably saw wrong... i'll check tonight...
 
I got a question about Gt4 since im in australia and im lucky enough to have to wait till march 10! but do the turbo's sound realistic now or is it similar to Gt3 because in Gt3 the turbo sound sucked. Thanks in Advance
 
um... as far as the sound... (my tv speakers suck and i dont have an additional sound system hooked up yet) i really don't know, or at least i really haven't payed much attention to it... i think it is probably better than gt3's sounds.... hm.... i'll have to get back to you on that one...

Not to be a stickler but the Prize Car lists the Escudo as "Dirt Trail Version".
Does it still have the same HP as GT2 & GT3?
I have not won this car so I don't know what the final HP (fully modded).
 
i haven't picked it up yet either, been concentrating on getting golds in i-a and S licenses (what a ***** :P ) .... and getting through the extreme hall... i've got my 88C-V and my R92-CP up to the listed HP numbers but haven't gotten any of those other cars yet...

anyone have highest numbers on the Cizeta v16t/bmw mclaren f1/VW W12 Nardo Concept/audi r8/bentley speed8/AMG clk gtr? .... i've got the cizeta and the clkgtr but cannot remember off the top of my head how much HP they have....

need more submissions please! :P
 
awesome..... thanks guys..... and yeah i could put up the weights too... as long as they are the lowest you can get them (i know most, if not all, of the lm and race cars can't be lightened) ... there have to be some factory cars that can be built up to 1000 or more that'd probably make it onto this list... so if anyone has any of those as well, post em up...

In GT3 you could mod the Escudo to get 1700hp.

I've noticed w/ a lot of different cars in GT4 that you can't get as much HP as GT3. :(

Mine says 1008 in the garage did you get its virgin oil change done ? ups the hp if you change the oil b4 u ever race it
 
what about the gts.can you get it in blue with white stipes becouse if you cant im REALLY gonna be ticked of!!!!!

I have a Skyline GT-R that had a stage three turbo on it and I could hear the squeal but that was about it. I later put a stage 4 on it and it was completely different. The squeal was much louder and the blowoff was amazing. I think that the view you're in also affects the sound. I just run the 1st person view where you can see the hood. Stage 4 = sweetness
