Hello,
This is an unofficial tuning competition, let the best set-up win!!

We’ll be tuning a new Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STI SpecC, here is where to get it (for all you who don’t know); Japan>Subaru>New Cars> Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STI SpecC. Buy it for about cr. 30,000, and head down to any tune shop, give her all top of the line upgrades,including all HP increase uprades, and Weight Reducers, NOT including NOS and tires.

Tune suspension, transmission, limited slip, driving aids, and downforce.

When you have your final entry done, post it with the heading as ENTRY(I’m sure you didn’t no that).

I hate the wrx STi spec C. I tinkered with the setting for an hour and a half. It actually handles quite well now, balanced like a FR:

spring 8.0 14.0
rideheight 92 92
bound 10 10
rebound 1 1
camber 2.0 0.8
toe -2 0
sway 1 7

Ballast weight 20 (The ballast is important, don't skip it)
FR Balance 30

downforce 30 30
variable center diff (vcd) 10 (very important as well)
all driving aides off

Medium race tires
Stage 3 weight reduction
No differential (This is important too)
sports brakes
no brake controller
Try these settings exactly as is. Ballast, camber settings, shock settings and everything. A slight deviation seems to completely kill it. I lap Nurburing at 6:51 with 494 horsepower.

didn't someone just try to start one of these? It's not going to work because for one you can tune the car out of a car and the guy who can drive better then you will smoke you every time. Also the true test in a race is the driver taking any car with any setup beating any course in a record time.

My set up is very simple, but i have a time within 1 sec of jaberwocky with atleast 10sec's to spare.

All engine mods, diffs, trans, cage, race suspension, med race tires 494hp and about 1160 kg

Springs 8.3 8.5
Ride height 92mm (100mm for the ring)
bound/rebound unchanged
camber 2.0 and 1.0
no toe
anti roll 6 7

VCD to 70%
custom LSD unchanged
downforce 20 15

6.52 at the ring
