4 door DB9-aston martin rapide

Does it come with a choice of that brunette chick or the blond one as factory options?

Looks like an Aston should ie stunning, it has DB9 headlights, but a rather different side profile (maily due to the exta lenth) and a differnt rear design.

I don't like the name though.
 
It's dead sexy--Aston just doesn't make cars that are ugly...that is except for that red one that James May tested on TG.
 
It's a masterpiece! The side profile is very nice, and the styling is simply astonishing in a typical Aston Martin fashion. And finally something new in Aston's line up of a coupe in three sizes.

Aston Martin come up trumps again, the side on profile looks very sleek and beautiful, and this is Aston's 5th car in 12 months, hell they aren't wasting any time. Wish there was a picture of the entire dash from outside the front door, I'd like to see the angle of that center console.
 
I agree... the idea sounds ludicrous when said out loud, but in the flesh... errh... pixels, it does look damn sexy...
 
Looks hot - I'll take the brunette. Whilst the car looks good too, there's something a little too yanky about the rear IMO. Can't quite nail down what it is though. Taken in isolation from other cars, I'm sure the design is perfectly fine and I'm worried about nothing.

Very impressive to have retained the flow of a DB9 with the extra cabin length. Of course the DB9 is still the best though.
 
Very nice. I agree with James2097 about the rear end. Something's just 'off' about it.

jeez, 5 cars in a year sure is alot!, but calling it the rapide? are they mad? i think the name should be somthing like the old zagato, maybe the Aston Martin :dopey: Vakato :dopey: or somthing along those lines
 
WOW Whent bentley took the continental GT and made it into the flying spur, it wasnt all that great looking. But this.. too nice to be true:dopey: Screw the flying spurr or a quatroport or that porsche thing panenenaereiurjew. I want this one :sly:

Do you realise the Zagato is the name of a coach builder that did some of the Aston designs for limited edition models, and they were called the .... Zagato, Zagato wasn't an Aston made name.
 
I dunno...a 4-door Aston seems like blasphemy to me, much like a 4-door Ferrari or Porsche (the Cayenne is nothing more than a fancy Touraeg, thank you very much).
 
Why? Aston have never been a supercar manufacturer, they make sports cars and GT's, it's not like it's the first time they're made a 4 door Aston, they even had an Aston estate before, the Vantage shooting brake. If I was to buy n Aston I'd choose this one over the DB9, Vantage and Vanquish.
 
The Vantage V600 shooting brake was done by Roo's engineering with Aston Martin's backing.

It doesn't look that good. That front-end looks wrong on a four door car. I think the long hood compared to the short back might also be part of it. I think only Mazda got the sporty look with four doors right, but the rear doors are small.
