Ok, I can get on the video downloads page, I can download a video, and I can only hear it, not see it. Is there a way to actually watch the video? :dopey:

Please PM the solution so I won't hijack this thread. :)

EDIT: Yay! It's working now. Thanks Darrkcloud. :D Thanks for opening it up, Jordan!

Thank you Jordan... I appreciate it...

It's nice to see most all of GTP working again...

Great! I have always wondered where Jordan gets all of his video's. Does he download them from other sites, and uploads them here? Do the developers send him video clips? How?

I can't download the GT5 video. I do have "remember me" checked.

Hmmm...looks like we're having some usergroup issues. I'll get them sorted out as soon as I can. All registered users should have access to the videos.

i'm alright i have 30GB bandwith.:sly:

I imagine you're referring to my comment here (i.e. "No, but I would imagine the bandwidth costs for the videos would be immense..."). If so, you have misunderstood what I meant. I meant that the bandwidth costs for Jordan would be huge, not for the users.

Sorry, your account does not have access to downloads.

this is what i get
and i have logged out , closed the window, opened a new one, and logged back in, but no difference

OK guys, I'm very sorry for the delay for some usergroups. Please let me know if you have any more problems with permissions. Comments should also be enabled for our home page news items, image gallery, and downloads. :)

NO access here.
Please be more specific. I'm looking at your permissions and there should not be any problems. Exactly what error message do you get?

I'm having the same trouble... I'm getting the: "Your account does not have access" message... Probably the same message he is getting...

This just doesn't make any sense. I've checked and re-checked permissions dozens of times and even tried the usergroup permissions with my testing account, and I don't seem to have any of these problems. I'll ask the SD developers if there's anything I could be overlooking...otherwise, I'm completely stumped.

I've had that problem, too, but I didn't know it was a problem; I just thought I wasn't allowed to download anything for some reason. I thought it was a little odd, though.
