Hey everyone , ive decided to make a small FAQ on the "black beauties" from the used car lot.

What are they ?

The "black beauties" are 4 special race cars purchased from the used car lot on days 694-700, 1388-1400 and so on.

Which cars are they

They are the

Mazda 787B
Nissan R92CP Race Car
Nissan R390 Race Car
Toyota GT-1 (TS020)

Which one is the fastest stock

1.Nissan R92CP
2.Mazda 787B
3.Toyota GT-1 (TS020)
4.Nissan R390 Race Car

The tests above were done at midfield in simulation mode. I did three (3) laps with each car on medium slicks with an oil change.

How Much Do They Cost

You will need about 8.35 million dolalrs in the NA version

Thats nice, But where can I get 8.3 Million dollars ?

You can get the CLK touing car from mercedes. Fully upgrade it and keep B-specin' the German Touring Car Championship. You will win the CLK race car . You will also win a total of 150,000 prize money (including championship bonus and all races). You can sell the CLK-race car for about 763 000. Thats what I call the 15-minute Million. That's right , the whole process only take 15 minutes.

thanks , woot my second post :D

Edit

Which Car is the fastest fully tuned ?

1.Mazda 787B
2.Toyota GT-1 (TS020)
3.Nissan R390
4.Nissan R92CP

Awesome post!
I remember hearing about these cars in passing, but never got around to finding them, or finding out how to find them.
Excellent addition on how to get the cash too!

Thanks!

This should be useful, this question arises in the 300mph Club a lot - now I can just link people here! Nice one 👍

(As an alternative to the CLK Touring Car, you can use the Opel Astra Touring Car, which many people consider easier to get as you don't have to do a race series to get it :P )

EDIT2 - You've sorted it now 👍

thanks guys. ill make sure to change the toyota name :D. i was confused about this , and i thought i might as well make an FAQ on it because when i made this i had just bought the "black beauties". this question arose many times and im glad i could help

are u only able to get those cars on those specific days? im on day 1227 and I havnt gotten any yet. Does this mean when days 1388-1400 roll around I get to buy them all or are there only some of them available?

on the next cycle you can buy all these cars. 2 are in used lot 1 and 2 are in used lot 2

In response to your edit, if you want to refer to top speed when you say 'Fastest', that's not accurate.

In the order of highest maximum speed first,
1. Toyota TS020
2. Nissan R92CP
3. Nissan R390
4. Mazda 787B

Running the 300mph Club makes me remember these things  👍

no no no , by fastest i meant fastest lap time on a track. not top speed.

Was this done with B-spec to remove the potential for driver errors? I just can't see how the R92CP is slower than the R390 GT1.

Also - instead of using the CLK Touring car (which you have to win I think??) you could buy the Audi A4 DTM for Cr.500,000, then add a Stage 4 Turbo. If you need money for that - race the easy Citta d'Aria rallies in Special Conditions Hall; completing forward and backwards gives you a Toyota RSC rally car which sells for 250k. Repeat 3 times for spare change; buy the Audi+turbo, and off you go.

i used a spec mode. i did 5 laps , and took the best flawless lap. a flawless lap is a lap where i didnt go off track and around every corner i was in the gear that was red or higher. what this shows is wich one is the best from a drivers point of view , not the best from an idealized point of view

Ok, but done by me, the order would be like this:

1. Nissan R92CP
2. Toyota GT-One TS020
3. Mazda 787B
4. Nissan R390 GT-1

And I am a very consistant driver, and usually drive 5 or more laps within 2-3 tenths of a second during a session around La sarthe. Around Nürburgring I´m usually within 1-2 seconds though, but that is pretty consistant anyway.

I meant Le Mans. But doing an overall best list is actually different, you are right about that! In that case, the list would look like this:

1. Toyota GT-One TS020 (very stable and easy to drive)
2. Mazda 787B (also very stable, and has very good economy for endurance)
3. Nissan R92CP (fastest car in the game in it´s stock form)
4. Nissan R390 GT-1 (well...good car, but nothing special, not even in it´s class)

Let´s just agree on that it is very much personal preferance on wich car is best. Fastest (not necessarily best) in any case is the Nissan R92CP, no doubt.

GT4_Rule
R92CP the fastest car in stock? :odd: I thought it was GT-One.
Nope, the GT-One is THE fastest car in the game, fully tuned. 368 mph as top speed speaks for itself!
But stock, the R92CP has very little competition, the 88C-V and C9 being its closest competitors. This is speed only, not around a circuit. In that case, the Playstation Pescarolo C60 Judd is the winner in its stock form. Fully tuned, I guess the R8, Speed 8 and Playstation Pescy is pretty equal.

But if talk about the BB, and we should do, since that is the issue :) , The list(s) would look like this:
Fastest in a straight line stock:
1. R92CP
2. TS020
3. 787B
4. R390
Around a circuit stock:
1. TS020
2. R92CP
3. 787B
4. R390
Fastest straight fully tuned:
1. TS020
2. R92CP
3. R390
4. 787B
Circuit fully tuned:
1. TS020
2. R92CP
3. 787B
4. R390
The straightline speeds are pretty undisputable, whereas the circuitspeeds is pretty open, since they may be of personal preferance regarding car.

Ok, I see. The Pescarolo's that good? So I guess its worth the 4.5 million credits?

No, GT4_rule, don't go buying the Judd 2004 Pescarolo!
(Saying it's the C60 really doesn't help... they are both the C60 model...)

It has a stupidly huge engine and therefore uses more tyres and fuel than the 2003 model, but unless you want it for 300mph tests it isn't any faster. The 2003 version does it all with a 3.2l V6, and it looks and sounds better :)

(R8 > Pescarolo :sly: )

Back on-topic...

Team666 is quite right in Post #19 (Except for saying that the 2004 Pescarolo is faster stock than an R8 - my R8 consistently outqualifies Frenchmen :P) so between everything, the GT-One probably comes out on top. But it's a little disappointing as standard.

ih I'd have to go for a black beauty, I'd have Mazda 787B and Nissan R390 GT1, since they're symmetric. I dislike unsymmetric design of the others..

i like GT-One more than the others, because of the look..........but to be on topic, D.E. is absolutely right: the GT-One can be a disappointment stock, but tuned a stunner!!
